Are you doing it right if it's gently used?

Me, either.

But did I tell you this? I was feeling sort of guilty about starting yet another blog — and then I went looking for something about my dad and discovered he has about 27 blogs, too. He starts one whenever he has an idea. Sometimes ... more
that's funny! I would have a hard time remembering what I said from one to the next and would just repeat everything. I had a blog at one point but it was in my early mommy days so it was just pictures of babies. Not very exciting...

Hi, Sacchi! So glad you could make it!

Yes, isn't it wonderful that fantasy and fairy tales are so wildly popular?

Oh and I also love erotica mixed with history...I love ... more
Thanks, kfemme!

I'm not sure short-form historical erotica sells all that well, but one of my very favorite stories to write was for Mitzi Szereto's Wicked; Sexy Tales of Legendary Lovers (Cleis). I got myself so deeply into Marlene Dietrich's life when she was entertaining the troops during WWII that I'm not sure I've come out yet.

It makes me wonder how authors can work with older works? I know there's an author that has done erotic adaptions of Phantom of the Opera, Maid Marion, Monte Cristo. Plus I've seen those new adaptations of Jane Austen's works, so clearly there's pretty free reign?? If too off topic, it's okay, just curious.

Oh yeah...that would be a real big fantasy hon...to have a library like that in a house that it would it fit in...that would be a dream...just add a wrap around porch and the partner of my dreams and I would be set! No more whining for life!

I'm curious about this too. Are there limitations on what can or cannot be done? Is it possible to use the same characters that someone else created without being at risk of some sort of infringement? Or is an erotic - or otherwise - reimagining legal and acceptable?

very nice fantasy. The toys are all put away, but I have all of my books in our office. So far, so good. Makes me wonder when I'm going to have to start hiding all of them.

Excellent point. But have you ever bought something and it just didn't float your boat? I have these ridiculous furry cuffs that have velcro on them. So silly!
