I own a Hitachi and LOVE it, but I see that The Cone is on that page as "Better choice: same features, higher quality" and now I want to try it. So, I want to know. Hitachi or The Cone?

I've never used the cone. But I'd vote Hitachi; it's so versatile, especially with attachments!

The cone just seems like it'd be hard to use. I'd definitely go for a Hitachi. I've never heard anything all that exciting about the cone. If not the hitachi, I'd look for something else along the lines of it.

I have a cone, but I hate it. It does nothing for me. I saw that same comment, but I don't find the vibrations that strong. And the second time I used it the batteries died. I think you should ask yourself if you like steady strong vibes or patterns. If you prefer steady, stick with the hitachi. If you like patterns, well the cone has many choices and it might be for you. Good luck! Finding a perfect toy is so much harder than finding the perfect pair of jeans, and we all know how hard that is!!!

I really like the idea of the cone and have ideas about it, but I don't know how effective it would really be and it seems a bit cumbersome if trying to eke some versatility out of it.

Hitachi wins. I haven't actually tried one, just the Fairy which is very similar, but if the Hitachi is pretty much the same but rumblier, then it wins so hard.

I don't really understand the appeal of either of them. However I admit I am not a huge vibrator fan...the Hitachi just seems like a strong vibrator with a really big surface area.

Both are very good. The cone is more for handsfree, pinpoint orgasms. The wand is VERY strong.
