I haven't figured it out yet.. but I also find stray long hairs wrapped around toys, no matter how careful I try to be, so I just made it a habit to go rinse off a toy before using it.

For boxes, here are some links of lock boxes I thought someone might want to try: [link] [link] [link]

Or.. If you can wing having something like this in your house/room.. a mini locker! Lol [link]

I have two Sterilite narrow 3 unit bins. I did not put the wheels on, they sit in the closet and hold a lot of toys and they were about 12 bucks each.

For Valyn (and whoever else checked out the first photo) here's a picture of the finished head board:

We still haven't put the mirror in the center, but I'm having second thoughts about that and may do something else instead.

I use a shoe organizer that hangs in the back of a closet. All the clear plastic slots can hold up to two or three toys, it is double sided and brushes the floor when hung in the closet. I make bags, and boxes for my toys and then slide them into a plastic sleeve. I put a pair of shoes in the bottom of the shoe organizer and no one suspects a thing!

Ok. Here's a sign I have toys on the brain permanently:

I'm sitting here, feeling fatigued, flipping through daytime TV when I see a commercial for this:

Oh hell, that's brilliant! If you'd posted this before, we could have saved ourselves a lot of trouble and not wound up building something... see what you did? (LOL...just joking!) But seriously, I love your idea, and when our collection outgrows its current storage system, the shoe organizer will be the next thing we'll go for. Thanks for the idea!

Just bought a sturdy plastic storage trunk from Walmart's website link. Wicked good price!

link This was my other option, but I wanted something solid, not fabric.

So I definitely underestimated its size, cuz this thing is huge.
link Here is is empty.
link Here is is packed. Sorry about the fuzziness. One shoe box has dildos and rabbits, the other shoe box has another rabbit and bullet vibes, underneath Rosa is my Under the Bed Restraint System, and the black bag in the middle is my roll-up toiletries case that still has lube, Wet Ones wipes (for toys), and batteries. The Punk Rock Rabbit is on top for a size comparison. The trunk is deep enough that I could stack another row of shoe boxes on top.

I want to rig up something to go on the inside of the lid, to store little things like lubes and batteries. I found this link, but it seems really expensive for something so simple. That company makes good trunks and trunk organizers but they were way out of my price range. Does anyone have ideas for making a lid organizer like that?

Toy storage didn't occur to me until I started receiving some of my recent toy orders.

All I've got is a very small decorative box that holds condoms and a couple of small lube containers. Now I've got a couple of Njoy toys, Hitachi wand, a couple of sleeves, various lubes, restraints, bondage rope, etc. And if I keep the Njoy toys in their boxes, I'll need an even larger storage solution.

A large tackle box would do the trick, but I need something that can be hidden in plain sight near my bed. A tackle box is just too ugly for that.

i saw a girls flute case and the cuteness and shape of it immediately made me think sex toy box! but turns out it has a flute piece shaped molds in it for some reason making it not so great a fit for toys, unless you could remove it.

i did find thins that i thought would be good for a small collection

This has been an issue for us for years because of the kids.. I never felt comfortable unless I could lock up our toys but still allow quick and easy access when needed. It is a mood killer searching for keys or trying to remember a combination while your lover is all over your body with lips and fingers. The solution for me was right at the foot of our bed for years! Dear Grandma left me her hope chest and I was storing old quilts and wrapping paper in it. It also has a very accessible lock. The quilts went up in the closet, the wrapping papper went under the bed. We can fit every toy, lube, movie, etc. inside it now and it's pretty handy. We even store our sex swing in it.

Mine is similar to this one. link
Hope chests aren't very fashionable anymore however, I see a few at second hand shops and sales.

Occasionally I do wonder if Grandma would approve..

For toys right now I mostly keep them in their original packaging, unfortunately kind of strewn about right now. For about $15 I got this really neat canvas type box from The Container Store or something like that, it holds all my lingerie (not for much longer) and a few toys. I keep all my lingerie in plastic ziploc bags just to keep the sets separate from each other and not lose any pieces.

Maybe one of those over-the-door shoe holders??
I am keen on the tackle box idea.

i was just looking for a good container, and I remembered the "Caboodles" from when I was 12 (I had a collection of them...)
There is a really nice one that I saw at Walmart, bright pink, with perfectly sized areas in it. I might have to go back and get it.

*bump* I'm looking for much bigger storage than the tool boxes I've been using so far. Does anyone know where I could get a very large foot locker?

For the time being, mine are being stored in the drawers of my stackable scrapbook storage cubes. It works, but I'm running out of room!

I am so out of storage ideas and don't know what to do. I have a tool box for lube, a tool box for my current favorites. A trunk for some and a few in drawers in my nightstand. I might need to build a rabbit hutch! I don't know what to get next.
