Honestly, I would wish my friend good luck. There is a reason that the ex is an ex. Maybe things will work out between them. Everyone deserves to be happy.

I would be angry especially if it were right before my birthday (& even more so if I were single). I think it's in poor taste to date a close friend's ex.

It wouldn't bother me a bit, because there's a reason that he's an X in the first place. If you were angry or upset that just means that you still have feelings for that person.

It would depend on how our relationship was and why it ended. If there was abuse involved in my relationship with him, then I would wish the both the best of luck and immediately distance myself from them if not cut them out of my life completely. I've had enough drama in my life and that scenario spells disaster.

Ultimately, yeah I would be a little hurt but I don't think I could begrudge the relationship if everything was otherwise okay. Love happens in the strangest places and could very well be that our relationship didn't work out because the underlying chemistry between the two of them was jamming the works.

Bawl my eyes out actually it would depend on which friend and which ex. Some would be great together and others I' simply say hmm how long was that going on?

If I don't want the guy I can't imagine why a friend would, but I guess that's her problem. I'm not sure what the birthday has to do with anything.

It depends on who the friend was and how long the ex and I had been broken up. If it's a recent breakup i'd be suspicious of an overlap, especially if the friend had been hiding it

I wouldn't care...he was obviously a piece of shit so that's her stupidity.

I would probably wish them both the best and put them on radio silence. I don't need drama.
