I never think this when my husband comes to me with something new. O.o I assume he found it on the internet somewhere or thought of it himself. Sometimes he gets ideas from porn, but most of the time it's his own idea or from online somewhere.

Humm...I'm thinking you must have a partner that isn't into porn much? Because if she is asking is the new idea came from porn and you are using sarcasm in the original post...it sounds like a partner who dislikes porn?

A lot of "new" ideas come from something we read or watched...it's being linked with porn or other erotica because that is presumably where an idea would have come from.

Sexual fantasies have to start somewhere, for many this happens while watching pornography. I'll admit I've acquired some preferences from pornographic materials but these are more often starting points from which my imagination create specific 'moves' or scenarios.

Unless you have an overactive imagination ( guilty as charged ) you're not likely to come up with new sexual ideas from other inspirational sources, so it is natural to assume one observed it elsewhere.
