Fly Girls by Digital Playground - review by tim1724

Fly Girls is the latest in Digital Playground's series of profession-themed titles. It's just over three hours long, spread out over two discs. It's a bit plot-heavy, with lots of comedic moments, and as a result only has six sex scenes. The humor is pretty good for porn, but those who are looking for wall-to-wall action will want to look elsewhere.

The basic setup for the movie is that a director and his pilot friend have worked out an arrangement to film a porn movie on a commercial airline flight, albeit without the permission of the airline or anyone else. A group of porn performers replace the flight attendants and co-pilot, and proceed to have sex with the passengers on the plane. Not everything goes as intended, which results in some interesting action back at the airport as well. The premise is silly, but it provides a solid foundation for porn comedy, while doing a good job of giving everyone a reason to end up fucking.

The cast is talented, both in sex scenes and in the comedic roles. The humor is predictable, but they manage to pull it off better than most.

There is a fair amount of variety in the sex, but nothing very extreme. It's all pretty couples-friendly, but still pretty hot. It's heavy on multiple partner sex scenes. Of the six scenes, three are threesomes (one M/M/F, two M/F/F), one has four performers (M/F/F/F), and only two are M/F pairs.

As is to be expected from Digital Playground, the cast is composed mostly of well-known stars, such as Jesse Jane, Katsuni, and Evan Stone. I particularly liked the threesome with Sasha Grey (a great addition to any movie), Raven Alexis, and Manuel Ferrara. They're all clearly very much interested in what they're doing, which makes it really hot.

Another great scene involved Evan Stone and Lanie Summers. (Lanie Summers was known as Heather Starlet before she signed on with Digital Playground.) This was the first time I've seen her in anything, but I thought she was great and look forward to watching more of her work. The blowjob in particular looked great.

Audio and video quality were very good. There's no music during sex scenes, and you can really hear what's going on. I like that. The lighting may be a bit dark for some tastes, but it's more than adequate and I like the realism of it. The sets are top-notch, and the costumes are great, too.

Although there are two discs, there are almost no extras included in this package. As with other recent entries in this series, such as Teachers, there is only a brief behind-the-scenes video and a handful of trailers, plus a very brief slideshow of production stills.
