A flexible anal or vaginal vibrator

While this didn't vibrate enough at the head for me to enjoy it as a prostate massager, I found that it was a decent (and flexible) vibrator if you're looking for something to use anally or vaginally - and it works in both men and women. It's very nice as a foreplay toy or as a helper toy - or when you want something low-power for any reason.

Pros:
Flexible, can be used in many ways - anally, vaginally, clitorally. Tail adds stimulation.
Cons:
Vibrations at the prostate aren't very strong. Not waterproof.

extremely useful review
The Climax Love vibrator is a cute little Japanese import. It's very non-threatening – after looking at it for a while we decided that it looks a bit like a large tadpole. While I still prefer silicone for most of my toys, the clear blue TPE material used in the Climax Love isn't bad. It's phthalates-free and doesn't smell, but since it is porous you'll want to use a condom or other covering on it. The first time I handled it I noticed a bit of an oily residue, but I haven't noticed it again since washing the toy.

Once I installed the included AA batteries, I gave the Climax Love a dry run. The almost-continuously variable speed control worked well, and looks like it will last reasonably well (the rheostat is wire-wound rather than carbon). In a world where so many devices have controls that require multiple button presses to use, it was nice to see a simple control. Slide up for more, down for less, and you don't even need to be looking at it to use it.

I covered up the Climax Love and slid it into my well-greased bottom (greased, naturally, with a water-based lube so both toy and cover stayed in good shape), and turned it on. I was disappointed in this toy as a prostate massager. The location of the vibrator bullet in the part of the toy that stays outside of the body means that vibrations at the prostate are minimal, and even though I'm a fan of stronger prostate stimulation I feel that this toy would satisfy few as a prostate massager.

As an anal vibrator, however, it works pretty well, and the toy's design lets it stay where it's put. The tail of the toy tickles your perineum nicely, and the vibrations complement (but don't drown out) other sex activities. The shape of the Climax Love makes it all but impossible to sit up while using it anally, but many other positions work well.

The high point of this toy is it's flexibility. Having tried it anally myself, we then proceeded to discover other uses for this toy, and it most assuredly has them. Used anally on a woman, the tail tickles the lower parts of the labia, while vaginal use places the tickler right up near the clitoris, and the head up near the g-spot. While vibrations at the head still aren't super strong, it's pleasant enough - and the tail buzzes enough to get you buzzing. Naturally, you can also use the head directly on the clitoris as well.

After use, we found that cleanup required a little caution, as the vibrator is neither removable nor waterproof – another point for using a condom on this toy. It cleans up well enough with soap and water, or you can use your favorite sex-toy cleaner on it.

In conclusion, I wouldn't buy this as a prostate massager, since it really doesn't work as one. As an anal or vaginal vibrator it works pretty well. This would be a good choice for someone interested in trying out anal stimulation. The versatility of being able to use this toy vaginally, as well as the inexpensive price tag, make this a good bet for a starter toy – nonthreatening, and with several other possible uses. It would also be a good choice for a light-stimulation vibrator.

It's too bad that bullet isn't further out in the tip, that would probably make a lot of difference in terms of prostate stimulation. Thanks for another excellent review, Scott.

Yes, having the bullet at the tip would help prostate stimulation immensely. I reviewed another product (hasn't been posted yet) where the vibrator bullet was right at the anus, and that seemed to be a good place in order for the vibrations to spread out well.

Of course, two bullets would be even better - one where it is right now, one at the end of the inserted portion, but I'm not complaining too much. This makes a nice foreplay toy, and the vibrator placement means that the tail has strong enough vibrations to be effective on the clitoris.
