All You Need is Pixie Dust!

The Pixie Curve is a wonderful, well-made butt plug that's really enjoyable to wear. It has a curved and balled tip that's great for prostate stimulation, and a large bulbous body that gives a fairly full feeling. The PVC, though not sterilizable and rather sticky, is soft and smooshy enough that it's an easy toy to insert but firm enough that it stays in place. It's a cute little plug that's really pleasurable, and the best part is that it's only $12!

Use

The Pixie Curve, with a small probing ball at its tip, and a thick round body near the base, easily slides into the tush and stays in for hours. It's an anal plug, with a wide base and thin neck, that's easy to slide in but doesn't move past the neck, as the suction cup base keeps it nice and tight in place. This particular plug, I feel, is best used by those with prostate glands, as the small ball at the end would stimulate that area. People without, however, could also enjoy the plug, but not to its fullest.

Before slathering the Pixie Curve up with lubricant, make sure that you have done a good amount of anal douching and cleaning beforehand. The curve of the toy causes it to pick up a lot when taken out, and some people can be squeamish when looking at that. Just make sure that you and the toy are both clean, and have fun.

Material / Texture

Made of a pthalate-free, smooth, flexible PVC, the Pixie Curve is easy to insert and conforms to the body. It's a fairly sticky material, but when used with lubricant, the stickiness goes away. When you grab at the toy, it does have quite a good amount of give to it, so it can be taken into the body quite easily. Since it's so smooshy, it's good for people new to using plugs as well as those experienced, as it has a design that's very unique.

The PVC has a fairly strong scent, one that doesn't really go away whatsoever. It's very plastic-y and offensive, but it isn't something that rubs off on the body, so you do not have to worry about your bum smelling like plastic after you're through with using it.

Design / Shape / Size

The Pixie Curve is a very curvaceous anal plug, with a tiny ball and thin, curved neck at its tip, tapering to a thick body and suction cup base. Its entire length, from tip to base, is about 5", the insertable being only four. The tip of the plug is curved for the ball at the end to give prostate stimulation, rubbing against those sensitive parts when inside. It's very easy to take in, since the beginning neck is very thin, but the body itself is rather girthy and there isn't a subtle increase.

The ball at the plug's tip is 7/8" in diameter, and is attached to a 5/8" diameter neck. The actual bulb towards the base, the thickest part of the entire plug, is 1 3/4" in diameter. Where the bulb tapers down to the neck before the base is a 1" diameter, making it easy for this plug to go in and stay in, without getting sucked into the anal canal too far. Since the Pixie Curve is rather flexible, it may be good for people who are already used to such girths in anal toys.

What's great about this toy is its triangular suction-cup base. It has rounded off edges and, when sitting along the person's cheeks, is very comfortable to wear. The suction cup is about two inches in height, so it's safe to say that there are no possibilities of embarrassing situations happening (i.e., the base folding and getting taken into the wearer's bottom).

Performance

The ball and curve of the Pixie Curve's design is excellent for p-spot stimulation. I would not say, however, that it's as great when used by someone who doesn't have a p-spot, as the design might not be filling enough for those who don't have a spot to stimulate. The plug is not long at all, so it gives shallow penetration, another thing to keep in mind before purchasing the Pixie Curve.

The toy isn't weighty at all; in fact, it's very light, so once it's in, it's easy to keep in without much movement or without the worry of it slipping out (or in). Its presence, however, is felt. It can be safely and easily kept inside for half an hour plus without causing harm or getting uncomfortable.

Since the base is a bit curved to make it have the capability of being a suction cup, it conforms to the body and isn't uncomfortable in any way. It's a well-made suction cup, so the person can be attached to a number of surfaces (walls of a bathroom, floor, toilet seat) without moving. The pink color is also really cute to see on someone's tush, even though it cannot be seen through completely.

Care and Maintenance

PVC is very easy to take care of, but it also isn't sterilizable, so if it's being shared, make sure to use condoms both between uses and partners. You can clean the Pixie Curve with toy cleaner or antibacterial soap and a rinse, either way works very well. What's great about this toy is that it doesn't retain scents, so it's safe there and will not become aggravating over many uses.

To store the Pixie curve, you can keep it in either its original plastic packaging or in any number of storage places, like a drawer, a toy box, or a closet. I keep mine in its plastic packaging on my shelf with my other toys. Make sure to keep it out of direct sunlight so that it keeps its color.

Packaging

The Pixie Curve came in a regular plastic clamshell packaging with a thin cardboard insert that did not give much information at all. The insert says that the Pixie curve is "Uniquely shaped," "Soft & Pliable," and has a "Superior Suction Cup Base." All of these things are true, though a little information on the back for cleaning methods would have been good.

Personal comments

I really do wish that Cal Exotics would make this little plug in silicone, at a higher price range. It's very low-priced since it's PVC, but I really think that it would be great to remake it also in silicone for those out there who prefer to purchase toys made of that material. It's an absolutely adorable toy, and that's the only improvement I'd ever make on it.

Experience

One thing that I found a bit amusing was how the base is a suction cup. Since the curve of the Pixie makes it that the plug stays in really tight, you can smoosh the suction cup down on a hard surface, like wood, plastic, and sometimes tile, and keep the person wearing the plug in place. They definitely will not be able to move, as the suction is extremely tight.

i'd be more apt to give it a try if it was made of silicone, but it's certainly interesting in design.

Thank you, everyone. I really appreciate it!

At its price, I sort of waive the fact that it's not silicone. But it's nice if it's only for one person to use!

This looks so interesting! I agree; I wish they made this in silicone because I would DEFINITELY be interested in it. I have a pretty strict non-porous policy for butt stuff. Shame Sad face Thanks for a great review though!

Thank you, Sex, Lies & Pre-Law! I know what you mean about anal toys, I tend to be that way too. It's a shame, it really is. C'est dommage! (That's too bad!)
