Artisan glass bulb review by California Exotic

I've never had a glass toy before; every wonderful glass wand I've ever seen has been prohibitively expensive. But not this little gem. The Artisan Glass Bulb by California Exotic delivers the true glass experience in a shape and design that is pleasing both aesthetically and pleasurably, at a price that anyone could afford.

This little toy is quite attractive; but you know... however much I giggle at the image of this toy emerging from a glass artisan's open oven, it's just not something you really should call "artisan". It just looks too perfect, like some sort of decorated crystal scepter for my pleasure. It has a nice feel and weight to it too; everything about this bulb makes you want to stick it inside of yourself and roll your eyes back in ecstasy (which is the point, anyways).

To start my test run of the bulb, I headed to the bathroom sink to try out it as a dildo after immersion in both warm and cold water. I found the feeling of the warmed glass to be a bit ho-hum, but my-my-my was the cool version of the bulb ever tantalizing. The cool ran away quickly, with the bulb settling to body temperature within a few minutes. Still, I couldn't help but dream of an afternoon spent with this artisan bulb, a bowl of ice water, and some hot wax candles. But I digress.

After playing with the bulb for awhile, I decided it was time to work it into my ass. After a generous slathering of lube, the bulb was so slippery it was almost dangerous. As I worked it into myself, my eyelids fluttered as the round bulb at the end popped inside of me. I paused there, working it slowly in and out, teasing myself by trying to never go further. But before too long I was pushing the whole length of the toy in and out of myself - I couldn't stop, it was just so smooth and slippery!

One of the other really nice things about this glass toy is that it is so firm. It doesn't compress at all; its presence is not one of adaptability. When my partner and I test drove the bulb on me during sex, he remarked that he could feel it massaging his cock inside of me - a feeling that amplified when I tilted the bulb forward gently by pushing on the base. As enjoyable as that was, however, the weight plus the shape of the bulb (or rather, the lack of a small groove near the base of the bulb) are not conducive to having the toy voluntarily stay put. Still, a bit of clever positioning solves that problem, and besides, the toy feels so good in place... well, let's just say that it's worth it.

The Artisan glass bulb is a welcome addition to my toy chest and a pretty one at that. The glass feels smooth and cool and just begs to be used. The shape is standard, a tried, tested and true ball-on-a-stick. It's simple, it's direct, and damnit - it's awesome!
