Crystal premium large plug - butt plug by NS Novelties - review by Yoda

The Crystal Premium Large Butt Plug is a toy best suited to relatively experienced anal players. Although it's not big enough to be especially intimidating, it does take a small amount of warming up to, so I wouldn't begin with this toy if I was just starting out in the world of anal sex. Instead, consider this a medium sized toy, perfect for those that have tried something smaller, loved what they found, and are eager to try something larger and more fulfilling.

To my unexpected delight, I also found that this toy could be extremely satisfying for those that like more fulfilling, like myself. Over the years, I've tried many plugs in many shapes, sizes, and materials. For the most part, I know what I like. So far, glass toys in this size category have not appealed to me, until now, that is. Don't let the pretty pink color fool you, this toy hits above its weight. Somehow it does everything right. It's easy to use, clean, store, and it's not hard on the eyes, either.

The Crystal Premium Large is made of Borosilicate glass, and is rigidly firm and unyielding. Also, it is smooth to the touch and completely non-porous. There are no bumps, ribs, or nubs here, just sensuous, delicate curves. In my mind, I predicted that when in contact with water-based lube (in my case sliquid ride H20), the lube would simply bead up on the surface and drip away uselessly. But I was wrong, and it only took a small amount to create an attractive slickness.

I would describe this toy's shape as bulb like. The tip is gently curved and tapers out gradually down to a width on 1.5 inches. From there it curves back inward at pretty much the same pace until it reaches the neck, which measure in at 3/4 of an inch. My first thought when I looked up the size was that it seemed unremarkable, almost boring. But I discovered upon trying it out that this size combined with the general shape are exactly what my anatomy craved. It was just enough. So instead of describing this toy as predictably boring, I'll say instead that it is reliably wonderful.

Practically speaking, this plug slides easily in. Once there it stays put, thanks to the rounded, bulb-like shape. I love the way it felt inside me, both for purposeful bedroom romps, and for nipping out and about as well. It was certainly firm enough to feel present, even after wearing it for an extended amount of time, but it wasn't naggingly present. Instead, it was just there. Always feeling good. Always feeling sexy. I wouldn't say that this is my kinkiest toy, nor is it my most elegant. But I do think that there is a smart and sexy quality to it that can't help but rub off those that wear it.

Another great function of this plug is its ability to hold temperature. One quality of borosilicate glass is that it can withstand mild fluctuations of warmth and cold. This means that, if you wanted to, you could warm the plug up in water before use, making it more confortable to insert in winter. Alternatively, you could also chill the toy in your freezer if you wanted to incorporate some icy-cold qualities to you bedroom adventures.

While not shatter proof, this type of glass is known to break into larger pieces, making it quite a bit safer than standard glass. But as with all glass toys, it is still important to treat them with great care. They should be stored and transported in something soft, so as to keep them from chipping or breaking on other hard surfaces. Also, I would recommend checking the toy over before use, not just to ensure that no damage is present, but also for your own peace of mind.

Lastly, cleaning this toy is a breeze. As with silicone, glass of this kind is non-porous, so you need only give it a good scrub with soap and water. Or, if you wish to be more thorough, you could use a cleanser or simply pop it in the dishwasher, just be sure to situate it safely inside to avoid any damage to it or your wine glasses.
