Riley - strap-on dildo by Pleasure Works - review by Trysexual

Riley is a beautiful realistically sized and shaped dildo that can be used with or without a harness for vaginal or anal play. Ideal for solo or partner play, Riley is a smooth bendable 100% silicone dildo that should please most people. It has a bullet insert in the base and comes with a plastic vibrating bullet for those who want a vibrating dildo. You could also use your own bullet or go without completely. Riley could work well for use with a position pillow for some cowgirl or cowboy riding action.

The bulbous head should please G-spots and P-spots alike, while providing a sense of fullness. Size queens may want something thicker, but this is a nice middle of the road size.

Riley is a smooth, slightly tacky silicone. It comes in choice of light teal blue or purple. It is a realistic shape and has no smell or taste. It is 100% pure silicone, which is a 10 on the EF safety scale for safe use and easy care.

It is firm but bendable. A nice balance of both. Not too far in either extreme of being too flimsy or too hard. It is slightly squeezable too, so it should feel pretty realistic. This could suit any level of user, depending really on size and material preference. There is a slight drag to the silicone, so plenty of water-based lube is recommended. It can feel a bit tacky too after cleaning, which also means it is a dust magnet. I keep it in the plastic bag that it came packaged in to keep it dust-free, but the dildo even sticks to the bag I find, making it annoying to remove, but at least it's clean.

It is harness compatible if you have an O-type ring.

Riley is 8" long and about 7" of that is insertable. It has a flared base for safety and harness use. It is 4 1/2" in circumference and 1 3/8 in diameter. I got this partially to use vaginally on my partner, but also to use anally on myself and maybe give Strap-on a try at some point. It is just about the largest width I feel comfortable inserting, but I was able to do so, with a little warm-up. It weighs about 1.7oz.

Whether or not this is for you just depends on size preference. For me, the girth is about the upper limit for what I can insert anally and requires some warm up.

The toy worked well. It is firm enough to make insertion easy, yet flexible enough to be comfortable. I can definitely see securing this to a pillow with a harness and try riding it or giving strap-on play a try. There is a little drag, which is normal for silicone, but it is a smooth surface, not matte.

The bullet is made of black plastic with one simple button and runs on LR3 batteries. It is quite powerful and buzzy. Maybe not as powerful as the High intensity bullet, but pretty impressive. It's slightly loud, but not that bad and the vibrations can be felt throughout the shaft and head of the dildo. You may want to put some lube inside the hole, because the bullet could be tough to remove otherwise. It is just one speed.

Feel free to substitute the include bullet with any of your favorites. There is a recess at the base, so that you could have the bullet on, while using in a harness.

You can clean Riley with hot soap and water, with a 10% bleach solution, boil for 3 minutes, toss in the dishwasher or wipe with antibacterial wipes/cleaners.

It is recommended to only use water-based lubes with silicone toys. Do not leave sitting in direct sunlight for extended periods.

It is not recommended to use silicone-based lubricant with silicone toys of course, because it can degrade the material. You can however do a spot test at your own risk.

You can store it as is, or stick in a baggie or pouch to keep dust off of it, which I recommend.

The packaging was just a basic thin cardboard box with a photo of the toy on the outside. The toy was sealed in a plastic bag within. Nothing else was included. Just basic, but tasteful packaging that is recyclable. You could store in the box, but it's nothing special worth saving.

I loved the shape, size and color of Riley, and when I saw it, I knew I had to try it. I had been looking at The Mistress, which is nearly identical, but when Riley was added to the EF line-up, I noticed it was priced even lower for virtually the same toy, so my choice was easy.

I'd rate is 3 vrooms, though it's probably more like 3.5 and 3 bees. It would be more like 2 if you had a harness on to drown out the sound. The sound is typical of a vibrating bullet; high pitched buzz.
