Gumdrops double bubble - butt plug discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by LusciousLollypop

The best way to obviously use this toy is anally. The guy I've been with suggested I try to use it vaginally. I did and was super stretched; mind you, I had a DIFFERENT butt plug in my anal area at the same time.

The Gumdrop Double Bubble has two bumps, one is smaller than the other gigantic one. The one near the base is crazy wide, like.. extremely wide. I tried to use this product and finally did get it past the second gigantic bump, but the base is too small and isn't flared enough to keep it in.

One good this toy has going for it is the first bump and maybe a little bit of the second. It's totally waterproof, so you can experiment with this in the bathtub or shower.

I think this toy is good for either females or males. It is a good butt plug if it has more of a flared base and some extra room down there. It doesn't have that, so I am really disappointed.

The best occasion to use this toy would be in the bedroom or with a partner. I honestly sometimes wear my other butt plugs just around the house because I like the feel of it. This one, really cannot do that and really disappointed me when I found out.

There are definite safety precautions that you need to take because there isn't much of a flared base. The safety rating is only a two because it's PVC. I would recommend if trying this or using this, please use a condom and wash before and after use, every single time.

The material isn't my favorite. I usually love Doc Johnson toys, but this one not so much. The smell was awful at first. I immediately cleaned it, like I always do with my toys, so the smell went away for the most part. The touch of it is nice and smooth. The material is PVC, which is extremely porous and should always be cleaned before and after use, or even wrap it with a condom for easier cleaning. The taste is not very pleasant, even after I cleaned it; it just didn't taste right.

The disappointment of this is that the double bubble doesn't feel realistic; it doesn't look realistic and is more futuristic in a sense. I guess artistic as well. The material and texture of the bumps add to the stimulation somewhat, but really kind of turned me off.

You need to use a lot of lube with this product, it does not keep going and going forever unfortunately.

This product is pretty firm, but I can flex it around quite a bit. It's in the middle of those two on levels of flexibility. This size is more for advanced users who know they want a big toy in their anal area and know what is coming. I didn't like how I couldn't just slide it in with no problem. Most of my anal toys are actually glass, which is such a better material for my body. It doesn't vibrate.

The design is actually cute, which is why I had to order it. I now know that the most of the problems people will have with this specific butt plug is going to be the base issue. There just isn't enough room for comfortable play. I may order the triple to see if the base is wider, which it looks like it is, but this is more for short term use and short term wear.

My opinion of the size is that the first bump is TOO small and the second bump is TOO big. It's just all wrong. I would make the first bump a little bigger and the second bump a tad bit smaller and definitely not made from PVC. I would make the base bigger so I could wear it for longer periods of time. The size is definitely not for beginners at all. The first bump you may like, the second bump not so much.

It is discreet for travel, but, if found, people will know what it is and curiously ask you about it. It's discreet in the sense that you CAN hide it in your anal area or attempt to without it being too much for you or without it falling out constantly. I would LOVE to wear this toy but the base scares me too much that I think I would have an interesting ER visit and have to explain.

The performance from 1 to 10 - I would give this a two. It's good in the sense just experimenting and seeing how your body works. It's good to see how big you can really go. Lube doesn't go far with this toy because it absorbs so much. It literally took me thirty minutes to fully insert it. The base was so far manipulated that I didn't want it getting lost in my ass. It just wasn't a good experience.

There is NO suction cup, which I would've preferred. I like toys that have suction cups at the bottom with a good base, so I don't need to worry about that part during sexual play. That should be the last thing on my mind. I just wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be with this toy.

It's definitely easy to take care of this toy - I ALWAYS before and after use, wash it throughally with anti-bacterial wipes or spray and some steaming hot water and soap. I store it in its origonal box, because that is just what I do with most of my toys. I might experiment with this at a later date, but definitely not right now. So that is where it stays - in the original box.

The capability of lubes with this double bubble is - the sky's the limit. Use your favorite lube, see how it goes for you. I'm sure you will either hate this product or love it. I personally use water-based lube and a warming sensation from KY; it's my preferred choice on every toy. I just needed to add a lot and keep adding lube.

I have noticed that this material of PVC picks up EVERYTHING it comes in contact with. I laid it on my bed to take pictures of it and it picked up part of my blanket with little pink fuzz.

The packaging has to be the coolest packing ever. It's stylish, enticing, and I wanted it badly. It has colors of deep pink and says "Gum Drops" on the front of the box. I mean, come on. Who doesn't want a anal butt plug that uses the words gum drops? If it has a reference to candy.. I'm in. It has pictures of fake gum drops all over and it's very cute.

There was absolutely NO user guide, which is fine because I don't usually read them. I know most people do appreciate reading them, so that may be a downfall for you.

I do use the box as a storage box. I may get up the nerve and try it again.. I don't think I'm doing it wrong though. Butt plugs generally are pretty self-explanatory. Who knows what might happen.

I know every toy I buy isn't going to always be amazing. This gumdrop double bubble.. it just let me down so much. I read the reviews and investigated this toy, as I do all my toys, and I'm like.. "Okay. I can work with this." It turns out you really can't because of the lack of base and the material of PVC. My anal area just doesn't like it and just doesn't accept it. Believe me, my anal area is very inviting and will try just about anything. I would be a little cautious to try another butt plug like the gum drops double bubble just because of this bad experience, but who knows? YOU may love it and it could be YOUR favorite toy. I am just one opinion.

I ended up getting the entire toy into my anal area. I was like.. "YES. I did it. I did it. I won this battle." Then I realized how much the "base" it supposedly has is flexing. This little toy's base was flexing so much between my asscheeks that I thought it was going to break off. I panicked. I didn't enjoy being scared of a sex toy. You should NEVER be scared of a sex toy. Sex toys mean pleasure and they mean orgasmic fun and experimentation. I shouldn't be scared of it. I pulled it out immediately.

I tried it with my boyfriend and was obviously nervous the whole time because we couldn't even get past the second bump on me and just finally gave up. He told me to try and use it vaginally. I thought it was a decent request. I washed it for SO long just in case because of the low safety warning of a two and tried to play with it vaginally. I liked the sensations of that part. I liked how small the little bump was and how big the big bump was. It isn't a complete loss. You can use this more as a larger dildo if need be. It's not a lost cause. I have learned this.
