Mister twister - glass plug by XHale Glass - review by Lana

I was extremely excited to learn that I was going to be reviewing a glass sex toy this time around! I have always wanted a glass sex toy of my very own, and was always very curious about the properties of a glass sex to, but my dream of having my own remained just that…until now.

Traits of glass sex toys that have always intrigued me were their ability to retain heat or coolness easily, their weight, their cleanliness and easy care, their high quality, and naturally, their beauty. Glass sex toys are typically made out of Pyrex glass, which means that if you accidentally drop them, they’re much less likely to crack, chip, or break than standard glass. Pyrex is so strong and has so many uses that many beautiful and creative toys have been created from this flexible material. Pyrex toys are of high quality and are, typically, handmade individually… they’re like the fine gems of the sex toy world. Unfortunately, it is for these reasons that glass toys are typically out of the normal budget (and that includes my own).

My new toy, the Mister Twister glass anal plug, is no exception. It’s a strong, clean piece of art. When I received it though, I immediately was struck by two things: its beauty (which I expected) and its – well – “petite” size. At first I wondered exactly how much pleasure I was going to derive out of a toy that was so diminutive in comparison to the others I own; I also had to wonder if, considering its size, this little guy was worth the hefty price tag.

Much to my surprise, however, its size is very misleading. Because the glass is hard, solid, and unyielding, it makes the most of lubrication and, once inserted, feels large and full inside. This was a fact that surprised me: it was just as pleasurable as butt plugs I have that are twice or three times its size, and as far as using it as a compliment to sex; it was just as wild a ride.

Its penetration and insertion are extremely comfortable and easy, and as expected, the Pyrex not only retains body heat very well, but actually feels as though it itself radiating heat! It’s also very comfortable to have inserted for long periods of time, unlike many butt plugs I’ve used in the past.

Pyrex is also very easy to clean, as it can be cleaned with mild soap and water, or even on the top rack of your dishwasher! The Mister Twister comes in its own cushioned black bag for storage, to further insure that your investment will not break or chip while in your toy box.

When it comes to sex toys of any type or material, you get what you pay for. Cheap toys are cheaply made and don’t always perform as expected, and sex toys which cost more may make a bigger dent in your budget, but they’re worth every penny. The Mister Twister glass anal plug is one of these toys, and if you add it to your collection you will in no way be disappointed. This is a piece of art that will last you years and years and will give you just as many years of pleasure and happiness.
