The Motley Runner. Where do I begin? This toy from Glassvibrations is NOT a beginners' toy. Not even an intermediate toy. I consider myself an intermediate to advanced anal user and this toy definitely put that to the test. I will admit I underestimated the size a bit when accepting this assignment so when it arrived, I was overwhelmed. The Motley Runner is beautifully packaged in a sturdy magnetized box, which I love, with the Runner nestled inside, secured with an elastic band. It also comes with a small drawstring bag to protect the toy from nicks and dings. I pulled it out with awe at the weight. It's 1 lb! The colors on this plug are gorgeous, starting out blue at the top and graduating to orange. The center of it is clear, allowing you to be able to see completely through it from base to tip, a very exciting idea which I loved. True to most glass toys, there was no smell, which is a plus. An interesting feature that makes this different from many plugs is the small ridge about an inch and a half past the tip, as a preview of what's to come.

The more I sat and played with the Motley Runner, the more nervous I got to use it. This is a big toy and I wasn't sure I would be able to take it, but armed with some lube and a clit vibrator to relax me, I was determined to do it. I began with a smaller plug first to warm up. I highly recommend this, since this is an ADVANCED toy and you wouldn't want to use it to start. After warming up throughly, I coated the runner in lube (another bonus to glass: it is compatible with all lubes, so that is not a worry) and began the process of inserting it. And it is a process. Plan on at least a half hour, if not more, for total insertion. The first time around, I didn't get it all the way in. What shocked me about the first time was how much I loved the feeling of being stretched. It took me by surprise how good the pain/pleasure felt. I had the same result the next few times I attempted to insert it. I decided it was time to recruit some help so I asked my husband to help, with the theory that if I took the control away from myself, someone else might be better able to do it. Again warming up with the smaller toy, he began working it in, pushing gently and turning it around and around like a screw. A couple times I felt like giving up, but a couple deep relaxing breaths and I was able to continue. And then, finally, it slipped into place. The weight was incredible. I finished instantly. I couldn't believe it. Amazing. I can't wait to try it again.

All in all this toy is more than I could have hoped. The pleasure of the stretching was not something that I had expected but was a very, very pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend this toy to any anal users who feel like they have tried it all and have nowhere to go but up.
