Since buying this cock strap, we have purchased a few other cock rings ranging from Jelly to Metal, and still use this strap on occasion. The main reason we still use this strap, is because it requires no stretching, and my husband doesn't have to try to lose his erection first. It can be difficult to go through foreplay then lose a hard on that was present for over 10 minutes. My hubby uses this when he wants no special requirements and no preparation, but still craves the feel of a cock ring.
The strap has managed to not lose anymore of it's snaps, so the thought is that it was a defective snap. My husband loves the feel and the quick release of this product, and we will be buying a new one of a little different design to replace this. Cock rings are meant to be put on a flaccid penis, but straps that snap shut allow you to put them on even if your guy is overly excited already, mine has that problem;) As far as snapping the strap closed tightly, you need to have enough room to get your finger under the strap so you don't end up pinching or digging the strap into his skin. Also when putting it on flaccid you need to leave enough room so it doesn't get too tight once the penis gets engorged. Snapping straps are pretty safe though, because if it is getting too uncomfortable you can just unsnap it and redo it.
