Black and blue collar review by Spartacus

I fell in love with this collar (Black and Blue collar) and the matching cuffs a while back, but didn’t have the ready money at the time to pick them up. Fast forward a couple of months and I had the money to get one or the other but not both; I chose the cuffs since they had some pretty good reviews and I tend to have issues with things around my neck (I can’t stand wearing scarves, turtlenecks… you get the picture). They arrived at the beginning of February and I was thrilled with them; they were comfortable, wide but not too wide, a bit on the large side but capable of fitting me when cinched to the smallest loop, sturdy, didn’t absorb funky odors when worn over long periods of time, and pretty enough to wear as a fashion accessory. When I found out that the collars were back in stock, and had yet to be reviewed, I jumped at the opportunity and waited in anticipation for it to arrive on my doorstep.

The box arrived on a particularly bad day; I’d had 14 hours of sleep over the past 5 days and had no energy to deal with anything. Nevertheless, I couldn’t resist playing with my new toy. I pulled it out of the box and immediately put it on. I suppose I ought to have expected the collar to be a bit on the wide side since I had a set of the cuffs, but I admit it took me by surprise. Both the collar and the cuffs are about 2 inches wide, and the collar looked much larger on my neck than I had anticipated, but after adjusting to the idea, I decided this was not a bad thing. It was very soft and there were no exposed metal bits on the inside of the collar, as had been true for the cuffs.

Despite my concerns about having things around my neck, I found it quite comfortable, and indeed ended up cinching it a loop tighter to allow for constant awareness of its presence. I hadn’t been intending more than a quick trial run, but I found that I was quite turned on and had to go dig out the matching cuffs to complete the picture. After a pleasant bit of play, I drifted off to sleep, still wearing the collar and cuffs, something I would never have dreamed myself capable of. In the morning, I found that the collar continued to smell fresh and clean despite having been soaked in a liberal amount of sweat.

All in all, I’d say this is a wonderful collar and I’d highly recommend it as both affordable and highly comfortable.
