The Leather Hearts collar is a perfect starting point for those in the BDSM lifestyle. Due to our style of play, this isn't a collar that we can use for actual play. For that, we would need a much more substantial closure than the snaps. That being said this is a great show collar or costuming piece... if you don't have metal allergies. The designers covered most of the metal that would be on skin, but left two pieces in. It can be covered by nail polish, but it may get into the faux fur and mess that up.

This collar has unique appearance the leather is woven through a series of metal rectangles making it look like a series of tubes. The metal ends of the rectangles also contrast nicely with the black leather. This design may make it harder to clean however. The collar is overall comfortable although the rough inner lining can irritate when worn over time.
