This leather leash and collar set is by Sportsheets. It is a great buy if you're on a budget and new to BDSM. Because it snaps and can't lock, it's not ideal for serious play. It will unsnap if too much force is used to pull the wearer of the collar, but it's still a great and cheap option for those willing to give collar and leash play a try. The leather is pretty nice. It's not top quality, but it definitely gets the job done.

As far as aesthetics go, this collar lays somewhere near "mediocre". It looks good, but it's also just another boring black and silver collar. There are small studs around the collar. They bear a Sportsheets logo imprinted on them, which I don't care for. It is lined with "fur" on the inside, which does make it more comfortable. However, it is a little itchy. I think it's because there's a small bit of fabric that sticks out from the stitching.

I'm a small person with an even smaller neck, and I wear this as tight as you can. It also fits on my husband. He is pretty small too, but I don't think his neck is the smallest by any means. It's very sexy on both males and females, by the way. One qualm the husband and I had about this collar was that the snaps are unevenly spaced. You can only have one snap snapped at a time. This obviously makes things stick out since it's not closed all the way and it also doesn't hold as well. I don't see this collar lasting a terribly long time, but if you're not pulling and tugging constantly like we are, then it should be okay.

The leash seems very well made. It could stand to be longer, but it's a pretty good length. It's nice leather too. It will probably last longer than the collar in our household. It's about 42" inches in length altogether. The collar is 1 1/2" inches thick, which makes it a pretty wide collar! I didn't expect it to be so big, but I'm very grateful that it is.

This set has worked out pretty nicely for us, even if it's not exactly what we're looking for. It did help to give us a good idea of what we actually want out of a collar and leash. This is our first collar, and it has done marvelous for that. However, if you've been doing this stuff often and you want serious wear, like me now, this is not for you and you should pass. I would definitely suggest buying the leash, which I think is for sale separately on the site. It's very nice, but you could probably find cheaper leashes that are even nicer somewhere else, if I may be entirely honest.

It worked well for us, though. The husband puts it on me and takes me places. He yanks me around and most of the time it stays in place, except for when we're getting pretty rough.

I don't wash things like collars and stuff. If I did, I'd wash it in the sink with soap and warm water, and just spot-clean it. The fur trim would definitely get messed up being submersed in water, no doubt about it. We store it in the Eden Fantasys tote bag with all of our other toys. We keep it on top because we use it often, and also because it would be smashed and become deformed under the weight of all the other things. You should keep it in a drawer or something. Treat it well, and it will treat you well.

There were no instructions in the package. This came in a simple, plastic, clam-shell type plastic package. The packaging was immediately discarded by us as it had very little use.
