Leather leash and collar - collar by Sportsheets - review by Ophelia Swallows

My husband and I are into role play and the whole BDSM thing. We have been trying to build up our toy collection, and we figured a collar and leash are pretty much a staple in any toy box. We bought this one, and it's OK...just OK. I mean it does what it says, however, I have quite a few problems with it

First off, I don't like how thick it is. Unless I'm really trying, it accentuates a double chin that I do not normally have. This doesn't make me feel all that sexy. Second, I don't like the little studs around it. They would be fine if they didn't have the "S"s etched into them. Lastly, I'm not a huge fan of the snap fasteners on the back. I definitely prefer a buckle. With the snaps, it doesn't allow for much adjustment in size. Either it is too tight or too loose.

It's pretty sturdy, which I guess is a plus, considering we can be a bit rough. Yes, it is real leather, but that just makes it all the more difficult to do any tweaking with it. You're pretty much stuck with what you get. I will admit, we should have been more attentive when we purchased this. If we had, we probably would have just saved our money for something of better quality.

I guess if you are looking for something that you're only going to use once in a while, and if you don't mind the ill fit, this would fit the bill. However, if you're looking for something that fits well as well as being comfortable and stylish, I would definitely suggest you keep looking. It's not the most horrible thing in the world, but it's definitely not the best, especially for the price.
