We were excited about receiving the Y Style Clamp, because while Haslin and I enjoy nipple torture, we’ve never owned a pair of clamps. Right out of the box, I found the plastic wrap warped and open on one side; a little unnerving.

The first thing I noticed was how heavy the toy was. The properties claim that it only weighs 0.1 lbs, but I’d say it was closer to half a pound. I was expecting the clamps to be daintier, but they were huge; almost two inches long. They looked very intimidating.

The chain for the clit clamp is detachable and the clips themselves have removable rubber tips for a softer gripping surface. Each clamp has an adjustable screw that allows for gradual tightening so you can control how much pressure is applied.

To try them out, I cuffed Haslin to the bed and warmed up with a flogger. As I applied the first clip to her nipple, my main complaint about the product became evident. They’re just too heavy. While slowly cranking the clamp shut was suspenseful and arousing, there was no way for these clips to apply only moderate pressure without falling off. The clamps are so heavy that every time I let go of one clamp to put on another, the first would tip over and pull off. The only way I could get the clips to stay was to put them on full-force, which was just too painful for her.

We moved on to the clit clamp without optimism. I cranked the clamp as wide as it could go and fit her clit between the tips. I held the clamp while I very slowly increased pressure. The placement was touch and go for a while, but when I found the right position, I was pleased with the result. With more surface area, the clip didn’t slip off with moderate pressure. I clipped the nipple clamps to the sheets so there would be some tension in the chain. The feeling for her was uncomfortable at first, but grew increasingly pleasurable the longer the clamp stayed on. Thrusting her hips didn’t work, so Haslin started arching her back, moving her pelvis down, so the clamp was tugged up. Absolutely gorgeous: with her back arched and her clit pulled up with the strain, the rest of her cunt was displayed perfectly. I could have watched all day as she arched herself into a frenzy.

But as she came closer to orgasm, she pulled harder on the clip and it pulled off, catching the thin skin just above her clit. The moment turned very quickly from erotic pain to the oh-shit-oh-shit! type of pain. We put it aside after that.

As a domme, I need to feel confident in my tools and this one is rather awkward and unwieldy. While everyone’s pain tolerance varies, I would only recommend this product for people looking for a more intense experience and are familiar with clamps.
