Great for the Psych Ward setting
These luxury ankle cuffs from Aslan Leather are of the highest craftsmanship and should last forever. The bright white leather is a welcome contrast to the rest of my bondage gear. I highly recommend these!Published: December 8, 2008

When I first removed these from the plastic bag I quickly realized these were much more padded and thicker than what I had previous thought. This proved to be a good thing, especially when my girlfriend really pulled against them. They didn’t leave marks or hurt her skin in any way. These cuffs by Aslan Leather are of a very high quality.
A quick wipe down with a leather cleaner, some leather conditioner, and I was ready to give these a test run. I asked my girlfriend to come into bed after a long day of work. I restrained her wrist with cuffs we already own (Crave), blindfolded her, and then placed the new Luxe White Ankle cuffs on her. I went down on her and as hard as she tried, she couldn’t get out of them.
The three metal d-rings are all very well attached, so it’d take an excessive amount of force to get loose. Another really nice feature is that the metal buckles are designed so you can place a lock on them. The white leather is very attractive and provides a nice contrast from the usual black bondage equipment.
The leather is very supple on these. While they are a littler wider than what I’d prefer, they are very functional and I enjoy using them. My girlfriend did notice her ankles became a little sweaty underneath, because her skin really couldn’t breath. This could be alleviated by wrapping a bandana around the ankles before applying the cuffs, though she said it wasn’t a deal breaker for her.
As far as actual sizing, these fit very well on both my partner and I, with room to spare. They should fit most ankles up to 13”. These are too big for either of us to use as actual wrist restraints. They do sit against the skin, but one can easily slip their hand out. Beginners may actually like the feeling of being restrained with the option of still getting out.
The only problem I have is that I don’t own the matching wrist cuffs. If you don’t mind your skin getting a little hot, you really can’t go wrong with these cuffs if you like the color.

How should I care for my leather cuffs? Should I use a leather conditioner? How should I store them?

These should be pretty easy to clean.
You can wipe down the leather upper with a damp cloth if necessary. You can use leather cleaner also. The lining can be cleaned with soap and water if needed.
You can store them flat or rolled. I typically store cuffs flat in a drawer.

Since those are white, you may want to take extra special care of them, considering the fact that they may stain easier. There is a tag on those, as ASLAN always has one, and it give you a bit of information on what to do.
Personally, I keep those ones hung up because they are so large.

Thanks for another great review, especially for pointing out that these cuffs are too big for wrist use as well. I've been thinking about just getting one set, but I see that I'll probably need to get two.
