The 5-piece hogtie & cuff set can be used by people of all genders, preferences and experience levels. It is a fantastic set that can be used in as many was as you can imagine! You can be hogtied with legs and arms behind you, legs and arms in front, or you can put aside the middle hogtie piece and use these as regular wrist and ankle cuffs. I used some spare chain for my ankles, but you could attach them to each other, or use a spreader bar or whatever else you can think of, as these will be compatible with most restraint systems.

This is a very well-made hogtie set, and I have yet to see much wear. The cuffs are all Velcro closure and made of nylon. The interior of the cuffs is very soft and totally comfortable. The middle hogtie attachment is very sturdily made: it features one very heavy, two-inch-diameter O-ring, with four one-inch D-rings attached by heavy nylon and secured with two studs each. Each cuff has a two-inch metal clasp attached to a one-and-a-half inch key-ring. I'm not exactly pleased with the key-ring thing (I've already bent one--time to hit the hardware store), but they make it so they and the clasps can be replaced if necessary, so that's nice. My one real qualm is that the ankle and wrist cuffs are the same size (ten inches with five-and-a-half inches of the "eye" part of the Velcro that extend off the cuff), and I get that this is a one-size-fits-most piece, but these barely fit my five-and-a-half inch wrists, and I ended up having to cut off about four inches of Velcro to keep it from causing scratches and looking unpleasant. That being said, they do fit me and hold me securely during much struggle. My one concern with Velcro closure was instantly put to rest as the "hook" part is underneath, so there's very little possibility of it tearing apart your sheets or lingerie or costume. I have to admit, these cuffs are easy to take on and off and quite cozy on the wearer.

One thing I really like about this set is that I can get them on by myself. I can even get into the hogtie position without any assistance. This is awesome for role playing! I can bind and gag myself and surprise my partner when he gets home...and who doesn't love surprises?

The features of this set may be pros or cons, depending on who you are. For the beginners, they know that they can unbind themselves anytime they wish with just a pull of a tab. Also for the novice, it's not a scary looking set for those intimidated by heavy leather, chains, and jingling rings. For the more advanced users that enjoy being totally restrained, the ease of use may ruin their experience. A set of spreader bars could easily fix that problem, though, since then the hands couldn't reach to unbind each other, and the cuffs are compatible with such accessories. If rich leather and clinking, burly metal get you going, nylon and key-rings just isn't going to cut it for you. But if you already have a set of wrist and ankle cuffs, those can easily be used with the hogtie attachment for stronger restraint

I haven't had need to clean this set yet seeing as my partner and I are the only ones who use them, and unlike other accessories, wrist and ankle cuffs don't tend to get terribly dirty. Since these are made of nylon, I would probably just wash them by hand in cold water and let them air dry completely. Since you can [italics| actually] wash these cuffs, they're safer to share than leather cuffs. With all toys, take precaution when sharing with non-fluid bonded partners, especially since you can't put a condom on this set...though I suppose you could cover them in plastic wrap, ::crinkle:: ::crinkle:: oooooooh yeah!

This set is about as easy to store as it gets. Because they're nylon, they won't get kinks so you can just toss these in a drawer or a box, or hang them up somewhere. I would keep these in a dry area as fabric can grow mold if left wet.

I store these in my closet in the original packaging with no problems.

The 5-piece hogtie & cuff set came in a plastic package with a nude girl tied up on the front. You can only see her perfectly air-brushed ass, so it's not the raunchiest packaging I've ever seen, but not exactly discreet. I tossed the insert with the girl on it but kept the plastic shell for storage.
