You can often measure the effectiveness of a toy by the threats it produces in the intended target. Such is the case for the Delrin cane, which was stated as being a severe toy and they were not kidding. Also given that it is rarely in stock for very long, this cane is one popular little bugger.

When viewing it originally, I was under the impression that this cane was of a standard cane length, being about three feet long and about a half inch in diameter. However, I was very surprised when it arrived to find that the Delrin cane is only 18" from tip to tip (20" including the belt loop) and only has a 13.5" striking surface with a total circumference of 1", about the thickness of a #2 pencil. However, don't let its size fool you. Being shorter than its cousin canes does not make it any less intense! This is largely due to the fact that the Delrin cane is made from rubber and plastic, both very dense materials adding a mass to the cane that wood of the same size lacks.

This cane can be very intense with little effort. Where my previous review of the bamboo cane reported it to be too light, this cane has the opposite problem. Its thin "blade" and dense mass make for a very stingy impact with nearly every stroke. This is definitely an attention getter! The girl was disappointed by the stingy feel, though did find impacts to the calves and feet especially to be quite nice. Those with more muscular thighs and buttocks may find the impacts to be more appealing while those with a little extra padding may find the sting to be too much.

The Delrin cane is comfortable to use and fits well in the hand. The impact zones for this cane change drastically given the short length of the blade. The first 3 inches from the tip provide the stingiest and most intense impacts while the middle 4 inches are nicely thuddy. The problem there is that the short length of the blade makes it very hard to specifically target the impact zones on a large target like the thighs or ass. However it does provide a chance for a range of sensations upon the smaller targets such as calves or feet. I wouldn't recommend using this cane on the front of the body (areas like the tits or ribs) because of the heavy impacts that can occur with very little effort which could cause deep tissue damage.

The Delrin cane is elegant in its simplicity and down right cruel in its purpose. In composition it consists of the shaft and a rubber handle and belt loop, making it extremely durable. It is likely to far outlast most toys in my toy box. The rubber/plastic composite make this cane very flexible, adding to its stingy bite. Clean up would be a cinch, wipe down with soapy water. Not being insertable, and I would certainly recommend against trying, the porous nature of the rubber handle shouldn't be a safety issue.

Overall this toy means business. I would not recommend this for beginners and really only for those who like the sting or serious impacts...
