Impressions paddle hearts by Sportsheets - review by Kat Vanir

The Impressions paddle hearts by Sportsheets is a thick leather black and red paddle that is 12 1/2 inches in length by about 3 inches wide. The actual paddle part makes up about 5 inches of it. It is made of multiple layers of leather, the black top layer having three cut out hearts that reveal a red inner layer. This top layer sits unstitched to any of the bottom layers, and I believe the intent is to make spanking sounds louder; I tried shaking it all by itself and if you snap it right, you can get it to crack a little bit like a whip.

This paddle is a serious paddle. The hearts are intended to leave little prints on your partner. In order to do that, you have to slap them hard enough with this to leave a red mark. The mark is the rectangular outline of the paddle with three heart outlines inside. It will look like you were hit with a rectangular paddle and then had three hearts traced inside in white crayon. If you don't hit hard enough, you won't see them. The leather stings after a few cracks of this one, and with repeated spanking, the little hearts all blend together.

I like the idea of this paddle; the hearts are cute and take away from how rough of a toy this one is. You can't really tap with this. It's definitely a full-on spanking tool and you will be left with red marks and even some welts from it. In fact, you really have to pay attention not to hit too hard as it is very hard, thick leather.

All in all, I was pleased. It is a tool intended for spanking, and it is well made and sturdy. It will (oh, I can't resist) certainly take a good beating and then some. I don't see it falling apart any time soon.

There is no vroom or bee on this one, although if I was rating the satisfaction from the crack of the leather against skin I'd give it 5 stars. I give it 5 stars for doing exactly what it is supposed to do, and being well made and high-quality.
