Lacy pearl wrist cuffs by Cal Exotics - review by Eva Schwaltz

The Lacy Pearl Wrist Cuffs would be best used as a costume accessory. They are quite fragile and can’t serve as a restraining device.

They come in a cardboard box with a picture and some product information but it doesn’t work well for storing and is not worth keeping around. The cuffs themselves are wrapped in plastic wrapping.

The cuffs are 9 long and slightly stretchy so they would not fit anyone with a large wrist. My wrists have a circumference of 6 ½” and these were very comfortable. I think anyone larger than 8” would have difficulty wearing these. These can't really fit my ankles but I think that would be neat if there were matching ones that were larger.

They have a Velcro closure which is somewhat convenient since you can get the cuffs on and off easily and quickly but it’s not the type of closure you can pull and tug at. There are bows on each cuff and some nice lace trim. It's very feminine and cute.

There is a string of pearls which are just made of plastic and connects the cuffs together. It can’t be taken off without ruining the whole set. I find this to be pretty limiting, especially if they are designed just to enhance a look. The string of pearls seems very delicate and would probably break at the slightest tug of the string.

Since these are so delicate, they would have to be stored with care. Folding them up and tucking them away seems like the best bet as to not enable any stress on the string holding the cuffs together. You could just cut the string of pearls off but I don’t think they would look as cute. If there was a way to disconnect the cuffs without breaking the pearls, that would be a huge improvement.

There was no cleaning instructions included but spot cleaning should do the trick for most messes.
