Etherea silk cuffs - wrist cuffs by LELO - review by robotry

These suede and silk cuffs are made by Lelo. The cuff part themselves are made of suede, and the ties that make them nice and snug are made of silk. There's a Lelo tag on each cuff. They come in black, red, and purple. I am reviewing the purple variety. They come in a very nice box, which makes for a great gift or storage. You can see the box below:



I bought these as a gift for a partner who is into bondage but is a little intimidated and not looking to be heavily restrained. I don't have photos of the cuffs in action because she's camera shy, but they look very similar to the Lelo photos on the EF site. These cuffs are great because they don't look scary. They're soft, and they're easy to use. The cuffs wrap around the wrist. In order to tie them, simply connect the silk strands in a knot. The ribbons are 60 inches long, so there's lots of material to work with, which is great! You could also tie them to a bed post or even to another part of the body if you were creative. You could wear them as wrist cuffs if you simply tied the ties into bows on each cuff. It does look pretty that way. You could also use some hardware to connect the loops on each cuff to each other.

A drawback of this product is that the cuffs are 8 inches long. If you have small wrists, they may feel a little too loose for you. Because these are made of suede, the box says they have to be dry cleaned. You don't want to get these wet or have any kind of liquids come into contact with them. They will stain. If you've got lube or lotion around, you might not want to be wearing these cuffs. If you are someone new to kink but looking for a good sensual restraint for some light bondage, these silk cuffs would be a good choice for you.
