In my experience, this is a fairly straightforward toy and can be used with equal ease by both beginners and those who have been into impact play for a while. The leather clapper might make it a bit nerve-wracking for new bottoms, but it's fairly easy to modulate the force by varying the type of swing and where the impact lands.

I love using it for paddlings coupled with standing bondage or during over-the-knee sessions, but it's versatile enough to be used in a wide variety of situations. It's also very portable--anyone with a hobo-style purse could easily drop this paddle in if one is looking to surprise a play partner. *Grin*

I'm completely in love with the design of this paddle--it's a thick two-layer black leather handle with fairly durable stitching and coupled with a clapper-style impact surface. The actual impact portion of the flogger has the word SLUT cut out of the leather that (with a pale bottom or a hard enough hit) can imprint quite nicely into skin. If you're not looking for marks, however, it's quite easy to flip to the non-cutout surface and use this as a simple leather paddle.

Oh, and I should mention that the SLUT cutout is backed by a layer of red paper to really emphasize the word.

The paddle is all leather except for the one sheet of paper. The handle is roughly 7" long from stitching to end, and the impact surface is 5" long by 2.5" wide. It also comes with a short nylon wrist strap (about as long as one from a "Wiimote"), which is quite handy if you happen to be a bit of a butterfingers.

I can see this paddle lasting a long time, provided you take care of the leather. Mine had a run-in with some of my lube early on, so the leather at the tip of the impact surface is a bit bubbled; but it hasn't affected the usability of the product at all.

This paddle actually worked quite well for me. I enjoy a good semi-thuddy implement for impact play, and this very much fit the bill. The fact that it leaves an impression is actually more than a bit addicting. *Chuckles* I've found that I egg on my top in order to get a more solid hit sometimes.

As far as my expectations go, this toy managed to be exactly what I wanted. I haven't yet come up with any unusual applications for the paddle--mostly because I'm assuming arse, breasts, and twat are all normal places to use it--but I'm sure that, with time and varied partners, some interesting new ways to use it will come up.

I love the ease of care when it comes to my paddle. Post-session, all you have to do is wipe it down with a damp cloth and store it either hanging up or flat in a drawer somewhere.

(Honestly though, mine often gets tossed into my toy bag and still survives the trip without any noticeable damage other than some creasing of the "slut" portion.)
