Not What I'm Used To

The Madame's Flog-Her Flogger is nice and soft for those who don't like pain in their kink play. However, from a top's point-of-view, it's hard to handle and definitely too long.
Published:
Pros
Soft/thuddy tails, Neat braiding, Pretty flogger
Cons
Seems a bit cheaply made, Handle/Tails a bit long, Awkward scent, Requires practice to use

Follow-up commentary
We still haven't gotten attached to this one. It's just a bit too odd and a bit too out of the norm for what we're used to for this to be one of our favorites. It does seem to have held up over the past couple months, though, so unless we trade it away to a friend, it seems that it's going to be around for awhile.

Good review but I think I'll skip this one. Nice to know it might not be something my partner and I would enjoy.

I have to admit that the handle is beautiful though, even if not the best size.

It's a beautiful flogger, but I don't like the downsides. Don't like that "wrap around hitting" you were talking about. NOT cool pain, yucky pain. Such a difference.

For the weird musty odor, there are two things you could try.

One, get some lump charcoal. Not the briquettes. It's called "lump charcoal" (made for your grill) because it's lumps of actual charcoal made from wood. Anyway, break some of these up, ON a piece of foil or plastic wrapped cardboard, put it in a medium sized Rubbermaid container with the flogger not touching the charcoal and close it, and leave it for several days. (wouldn't that be a cool name for a Kink Toy Company? "RubberMaid?") Check it every few days until it's not smelling weird.

You could do the same with baking soda on the cardboard, instead, but charcoal works better IMO.

I hope this helps you guys. Nothing like a light, stinky flogger to wreck you night.

It's not horribly stinky. It's just noticable if you have it anywhere near your face. It isn't really *unpleasant* either. Just...really odd.

Thanks for the suggestions though. You come up with the coolest suggestions.

Great review and follow-up! Too bad it wasn't something you could used to using, it does have a pretty handle.
