The Angelic Dreams Spank Her by Ruff Doggie Styles makes me wonder: how could something so beautiful and angelic be so darned evil? I have had this paddle for a year, maybe even two now, and I am addicted to it, both as a top and as a bottom.

On the giving end, the paddle is a pleasure to use. First off, it's LONG – 11”x4” of slappy part, and 5” of handle! Despite this size, it weighs in at only a pound, so won't cause extreme wrist fatigue in a long spanking session. It features a wrist strap, which makes it pleasing to use as it stays put and in control in the hand, and can also be dropped at any time for a quick grope or two, without having it fall to the ground. And because it's a stiff sturdy paddle, the tip can be used for detailed work on fun places like the inner thigh, or the entirely of the paddle can be laid across the ass for a satisfying smack on both ass cheeks at once. The paddle is double sided – a solid and flat black back, and a light tan colored front. The tan leather on the front is decorated with images of angels, animals and musicians frolicking. It makes me think of a mural in an old English church, or the Victorian style wall paper in my grandparents guest room. There is a bit of padding on the angelic side – deceptive padding, mind you, as it sure doesn't feel padded when whacked on a rump with gusto (of course, the flat black side has no padding, and stings even more than the padded side). I like the deliciously psychological aspect of delivering (or receiving) stinging strikes from a device coated in innocent looking angels.

Crafted from leather affixed to some sort of incredibly sturdy reinforced core (possibly all leather, but it feels like there might be some sort of light metal piece in there), this paddle is capable of delivering a very solid stinging slap. The leather is reinforced around the edges with solid stitching, which shows no sign of weakening or unraveling despite heavy use of this paddle over the past year. Likewise, the structural integrity o the paddle's core remains solid and secure, with no warping or bending or floppiness evident, despite literally thousands of paddle smacks.
