The Angelic Dreams Spank Her Paddle is a leather paddle made by Ruff Doggie Styles. It is pretty much the sister paddle of the Illusions Spank Her Paddle. This paddle is about sixteen inches long, and it is about four inches in width. The paddle is made from layers of leather sewn together, and the patterned side of the paddle also has some slight padding under it to soften the blow. The actual product size is pretty accurate, but my paddle ends up looking a lot more dark brown than the light brown that is pictured on EF's pictures.

There are a couple of differences between the Illusions Paddle and this one. For one, the Illusions paddle is shorter, skinnier, and lighter. It's about three inches shorter, an inch less in width, and because of all of the lesser materials, it's also lighter as well. The Illusions paddle also has a long, thinner handle while the Angelic Dreams paddle has a shorter, stouter handle. The Illusions paddle seems to be a bit more plushy with the padding as well, but it's possible that's just because of individual differences of the paddles instead of just how they are actually made. Aside from those differences, they appear to be constructed the same, and it looks like aside from that, the only difference between the paddles is in the pattern on one of the sides; the Illusions paddle has the rainbow-looking pattern while the Angelic Dreams paddle has a pattern with mushrooms, angels, and birds. It's really a funky paddle, actually, and I think I'm more fond of the Illusions paddle's pattern.

The handle on this paddle actually does its job really nicely. It's thicker and shorter because it needs to handle the longer-length and higher weight of this paddle, and it does it nicely. Using this paddle almost reminds me of actually using one of those wooden fraternity paddles because that's just how it's made. It's definitely a bit bulky, and you can't really get in a lot of hits in quick succession just because it takes too much time to move the paddle to be able to do that. However, it also isn't that horribly heavy; I can easily use this for fifteen or twenty minutes without my hand getting tired. If you want to go for longer periods than that, it might be a good idea to switch it out with a lighter paddle. (Plus, new sensations always make a spanking much more pleasurable.)

How does it feel? Well, it's not nearly as nicely padded as the Illusions paddle is, but it's not really stingy either. It's too heavy to be stingy. Don't get me wrong - this paddle can definitely hurt, but it never really feels horribly with the after-sting like some other paddles can. It feels like an interesting mixture between stingy and thuddy. Because it's heavy, it leaves that thud to it, but because it's small in size and still pretty easy to handle, it can leave a slight bit of sting as well. If used over long periods of time, this paddle definitely can hurt; it can get pretty painful pretty quickly if your playmate wasn't looking for a a stingy time. This is all talking about the padded, patterned side.

When the paddle is flipped over, it produces an entirely new sensation. This is a much more stingy sensation because there is no padding, and it's just a plain, flat leather surface. This one is definitely stingy, and it's only slightly thuddy. In fact, I'd venture to say that it's not thuddy at all. If you hit with this plain, black leather side, you are going to cause pain. You can hit very, very lightly with this side, but it's still going to cause a slight bit of pain. This is not one of the best paddles to purchase if you are looking to just be thuddy and not cause pain; this paddle, no matter which side you use, does cause a slight bit of pain, so it's best for those who know that's the sensation they'd like to give. This paddle could definitely bruise someone if used roughly and for a long enough period of time.

This paddle is easy to clean, but it's not sterilizable. It can be wiped down with a slightly damp washcloth to get the surface dirt off, but I don't recommend soap as soap can harm leather. There are special leather cleaners you can purchase if you'd like, but as long as you aren't getting a lot of mess on it, a slightly damp washcloth should get the majority of it off. This paddle comes with a hanging strap, so it can be hung off of a wall or pretty much stored wherever you'd like. Please try to keep this away from bodily fluids or blood.

Overall, I definitely do like the Angelic Paddle, and I have nothing really all that negative to say about it. It's a high-quality paddle that is going to last a long time, and as long as you know that you want to cause a bit of a stinging sensation during your play, it's a good choice. I wasn't very fond of the pattern on the side of the paddle, but i still have used this on multiple occasions since I received it for review.
