Let me begin by saying that these are the first pair of restraints I've ever owned. I've looked for a product that would allow me to enter into the wonderful world of BDSM for awhile but didn't know where to begin. I wanted something that let me feel comfortable and secure and yet still remain feminine. Then I found these pretty little cuffs. The Kinky Pinky Cuffs with Tethers by Sportsheets are perfect for beginners even stating the title on the box. They aren't intimating or scary and are a bargain at only $8.99. The price was important to me also as you don't want to spend too much for something that you aren't even sure you will love.
The cuffs are sturdy yet soft to the touch and seem to be very well made. They are held with Velcro and are made with fake fur and nylon straps. The straps measure to 36" and reached the corners of my queen size bed very well. I've also read in another review that the user had a king size bed and they also reached perfectly. I guess it just depends on how you tie them and at what height. The fur is so soft and doesn't feel cheap considering that it's fake. The stitching seems very secure and considering the price of these cuffs, I'd say the craftsmanship is pretty decent.
Since I'm a beginner, I had a little difficulty tying the knot the first few times. I eventually found a way that worked for my lover and I. Don't let the pretty pink color fool you, these babies mean business. They can and will hold up while your having playtime. The more you pull while you're cuffed the tighter the knot gets. I pulled with great forced and they still held on tight, so they are durable. I could see them lasting a long time with proper care.
They are easy to store since it's basically soft materials and they are the perfect size to easily conceal. While they don't come with any info on how to clean them, I figured I could wash them in the washing machine on cold. They came out kinda stiff but not torn or damaged. They became soft again with some handling. Just be sure not to bleach them as you'll ruin their pretty pink color.

I love my first pair of cuffs and I highly recommend them for any couples looking for restraint play. They are much more tougher than they look.

My kinky cuffs are still in rotation in our restraint play and are still holding strong. In the beginning I was worried that the Velcro in the straps would begin to lose traction but this has not been the case. I highly recommend them to couples looking to introduce bdsm into your lovemaking. They are sturdy enough to hold you while still gently on your skin.
