Wrist restraints by Spartacus

While I have been interested in bondage for a long time, this is my first proper pair of cuffs for restraint. Up until this point, I had always used rope to immobilize a partner or be immobilized. But, I am thrilled to add these gorgeous restraints to my toy bag.

When I first laid eyes on these cuffs, I was impressed with the vibrant color and the clear quality of them. Picking them up, the leather was soft and smooth and I immediately smelled them. I knew that I would be enjoying them greatly just from the first experience.

The cuffs arrived packed flat so I could tell right away they would take some breaking in. Despite the fact that no one was at home to tie me to anything, I put both of them on to start getting them shaped to my wrists. Keeping them on for the afternoon was a good experience because I got a good idea of how comfortable they would be for extended periods of time.

While they initially felt awkward on my wrists, I quickly acclimated and started enjoying the feel of the leather against my skin. I looked at them regularly to admire them - they truly are gorgeous and sexy. I expected my wrists to get warm and sweaty but I found that they breathed quite well and I didn't experience any discomfort.

By the time my partner came home in the evening, I was quite ready to take them through their paces and he was happy when I met him at the door wearing not much more than the restraints and a smile. The hooks on them are shaped very well for using rope to secure them, but any other type of hardware would work as well. I was handily attached to the hooks in our wall and he proceeded with his agenda.

I did manage, during this process, to pay a bit of attention to my wrists even though they quickly were no longer the center of attention. I was able to struggle against these restraints both without hurting myself and without feeling like I would break them. Even though they are unlined, I did not have any discomfort or rubbing on the delicate skin on my wrists.

I am certain that will time and care these restraints will wear in beautifully and become more and more lovely and comfortable. I am thrilled to have them as part of my collection and I know I will be wearing them often both for their beauty and their functionality.
