That is a very good thing for someone with a touch of carpal tunnel syndrome like me. I do wish that it hadn't been folded in the box for so long that the leather tails seem to have a permanent bend in them, but I am hoping that time and use will straighten them out.

I tugged hard on the tails, just to make sure they were securely fastened to the handle, and they were. This does not appear to be a whip that will fall apart during use, in spite of its inexpensive price.

The tails are 22” long, and I probably would be happier with something shorter. You really do have to stand back from the target of your affections to control exactly where you want the tails to whip. Since you do not want to whip a person on their lower back, due to possible kidney damage, you have to stand back a ways to concentrate on the target. I am thinking that a whip with shorter tails might be easier to control, for me, anyway.

Now, my husband (who is also my slave) really loved the feel of this whip. It was 'stingy' as opposed to any hard pain, and that is what we were looking for. If you really do lay into it, you can leave welts, but it takes some effort. If you are wanting to really whip someone's ass, this is probably not the toy for you.
