X-tree collar by ASLAN Leather - review by Sabriel

What a beautiful collar! The inside layer is very soft and supple, while the outside layer is strong. The spikes add a nice touch and the large O-ring makes a perfect place to attach all sorts of other bondage restraints! The weight and thickness of it feels reassuring while on one’s neck, but remain comfortable for hours. Everything about it seems well-made and gives the impression of holding up for years!

The locking mechanism consists of a typical buckle system normally found on a collar, but the buckle fastener that goes through the leather has a hole in it, perfect for connecting a small (maybe medium) gauge lock through – Master and I had to plunder one off one of our toy cases, since Eden doesn’t seem to stock locks, and it worked perfectly! I certainly couldn’t have taken it off (though I didn’t really want to try).

I could find two possible pitfalls to this collar. One is the tightening size. Perhaps I have an unusually small neck for my size (I am on the tall side as far as women go, but am proportional, not skinny by any means), but I had to tighten it to the last hole in order for the collar to be loosely snug. The other would be the spikes. They are a beautiful addition to the collar, but they are on the sharp side, so I will now caution people about the dangers of using sharp things near other people’s skin (in the more sensitive areas) and soft things like bedding, both of which have the possibility of becoming damaged if rough things are being done. Caution. There, now everyone is safe and can have fun!

Anyway, the X-Tree collar by Aslan Leather is a great and welcome addition to our toy chest. I fully recommend it for all M/s partners, those who like self bondage and those who just want a pretty piece of wicked looking collar to wear out around town!
