Love swing review

I have wanted a Love Swing forever. Well, at least ever since I worked at an upscale adult store back in the late 90s and they flew off the shelves so fast it seemed we were always out of stock.

My husband and I talked about getting one but never got around to it, then “ta-da” just in time for Christmas we got our very own swing, a perfect gift from Santa. The first thing we had to figure out was where to hang it; with three kids running around, we couldn't just throw it up anywhere or put it in a doorway like the directions recommend. Finally we found a nice sturdy spot in our bedroom to install the hardware and hang up the swing. Then we just had to wait for a night when our toddler actually fell asleep at a decent hour, and finally it was swinging time.

Getting comfortably into the swing and hooked up was a little awkward at first. It's a good thing the hubby and I have been together awhile and enjoy the humorous predicaments we find ourselves in sometimes during our sexscapades.

After I flipped over backwards and was hanging upside down for a few minutes, he was laughing so hard he couldn't help me untangle myself and get up. I tried not to take offense and ended up laughing so hard I had an even more difficult time getting my feet out of the stirrups. I should have known something like this might happen. I'm one of those people that can't get in a hammock without looking like some goofy, slapstick flashback reminiscent of a Three Stooges or Laurel & Hardy routine.

Finally, I managed to unwrap myself with no help from my still laughing husband. I felt indignant and slightly embarrassed but it was funny as hell, so I got over it. I can't even imagine what I looked like butt naked with my feet caught in the stirrups, flipping over and landing on my head. Oh well, I never claimed to be the graceful type. I should be used to situations like this by now (you should hear about all the satin sheets incidents).

We finally managed to compose ourselves and try again. This time he held the swing while I got settled in. He didn't let go until I was absolutely stable. Now we got to the good stuff. We tried out pretty much every position in the book that came with the swing; seated cunnilingus, backbend cunnilingus, 69 cunnilingus (this was cool, totally made this a lot easier to do), front entry, rear entry, and a few we just made up. The swing was amazing (once I quite literally got the hang of it).

The swing took the pressure off trying to get comfortable in certain positions or trying to balance myself while doing certain things. It did the work for us. Like during oral sex, I didn't have to hold myself up or balance, I could just concentrate on him; so wonderful. I highly recommend The Love Swing for any couple who wants to add a little something to their love life. I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to lots of swinging in the future; the kind that involves just me, the hubby and the swing. Hopefully I won't be performing anymore comedy routines.
