Dildo discontinued

A little too large for me.

This item will work for more experienced toy users, but I would not recommend this for a first time toy user. It is best to start small and then move up in size if you feel the need.

somewhat useful review
I really enjoy the look and feel of this toy, but unfortunately it is too big for me both width and length wise. Even with a lot of lube it was still painful to use. I also dislike that the toy is silicone because I can only use water-based lubes, which never provide enough lubrication for me. Even though it is designed to be a strap on, I used it as a regular dildo and it worked just fine despite it being a little flimsy to hold.

I'm also afraid of cleaning it because soap and water never seems to be enough. I've always been very weary about silicone toys because they always tend to give me lady problems. I believe that I may have gotten a yeast infection because of a reaction to this toy, or it just not being clean enough. It is rather difficult to clean as it is really flimsy and it has a lot of ridges where things can get stuck inside.

I will try to use it again and keep you updated, I think it may work better if I am more turned on so that I will have more natural lubrication. I enjoy using it to tease my boyfriend, I like to make him watch me use it. It also almost resembles his penis, so it drives him mad to watch me use it. Hopefully if I try hard enough I can use it without any pain as it is an amazingly designed toy otherwise.

If you are thinking about purchasing this toy, I would keep a few things in mind. 1. It is rather large, and may take some work to insert it and use in comfortably, especially if you're petite like I am. 2. It is not the easiest toy to clean, so you're going to have to make sure to take the time to clean it thoroughly no matter how long it takes. 3. It is made of silicone, so if you're a silicone lube lover like me, you cannot use it on this toy. If you've never used sex toys before, I would suggest you start with something smaller and easier to clean so it doesn't just end up sitting in your drawer because it is too large.

I wanted to address the cleaning of silicone. Not only can it be washed with soap and water or toy cleaner, but it can be sanitized with a bleach solution, boiling or run through the dishwasher on the top shelf with no detergent (wash by hand first). As a matter of fact the numerous ways to clean and sanitize it is one of the biggest benefits of silicone and I am surprised to hear you say it was so difficult to clean. Beyond that, the nature of the surface is such that pathogenic microbes cannot hide in pores as they can on some other materials. That means the porous materials can reinfect you with all manner of things. Not so with silicone, as long as you clean it.

I suggest soaking it in hot soapy water and then, if needed, using a soft bristle toothbrush (new and just for cleaning sex toys!), or a washcloth to help you scrub around any bumpy surfaces to be sure you get everything, but really it's not hard to do. And if you want to clean beyond that, make a 1 part bleach to 9 parts water solution and soak it in that to kill anything you are worried about. There is even a product on the market called Clorox Anywhere Spray that is pre-diluted for you and all I do is spray the whole toy until covered and leave that on for 5-10 minutes then rinse (but you could let it dry on it, no problem, I just rinse before use).

Then of course, there is the dishwasher, but don't use any soap in it because it leaves an odd film on the silicone and can eventually hurt the material. You simply wash the dildo first then put in the top rack and wash which will sanitize it from the heat. and finally, there is boiling which is described in many different reviews an places on this site.

Oh, and for the lubes, do you know about hybrid lubes? They have a water-base, but also have a little silicone lube in them to give you the benefits of both. Sliquid Silk, for example, is a good one. Since your toy is platinum cured silicone, you may also be able to use silicone lube! Just do a tiny test spot in an inconspicuous place, say the underside of the flared base. If it gets gummy right away, then wipe it off pronto and wash with soap to remove. However, if it doesn't react (as it most likely won't because of the platinum grade silicone), go ahead and use your silicone-based lube!

I find for large dildos that it helps to warm up with smaller toys, maybe a vibe and an orgasm or two. That could really help you accommodate this. I am tempted to say that your not being prepared enough for it may be part of the reason for getting a yeast infection. You likely irritated the area and I know that I personally get yeast infections from irritation of any sort there. Maybe some of the tips I have given will help and I wish you luck. If worse comes to worse though, you can sell it because it is sanitizable!
