Happy valley delight - strap-on dildo by Happy Valley - review by ~LaUr3n~

Canada has more than an abundance of sexy Canadians and beautiful landscapes. Canada also has awesome silicone and wonderful Happy Valley toys made from this wonderful silicone. The Happy Valley Delight is a moderate sized dildo great for anal and vaginal penetration. It is also decent at getting at the g-spot and it good in a harness too! The silicone's firmness is not my favorite, however it still is lovely and the patterns in the silicone are awesome! Each one of these has a unique pattern all its own. The dildo also has a removable bullet, although stubborn, it is very strong and transfers vibrations well! I recommend this vibrating dildo for pegging couples, those with a decent amount of anal experience, or those who like moderate sized vaginal toys.

The Delight comes in two gorgeous colors. I received the royal blue and it also comes in a vibrant red. While this is probably up there with the prettiest swirled silicone I have ever seen (really...it's gorgeous!), it doesn't have the softness that makes it feel more like the real thing. The hypo-allergenic, body safe, odorless, and latex free material is very firm. It does not have much give and because of this it's flexibility is limited some. This makes it good for harness use though. It is extremely sturdy! This silcione has a very smooth surface. It isn't sticky at all, but for some reason it attracts hair. For some reason, I want to say that this is actually due to static electricity.

The Delight was an excellent size for what I wanted it for-a larger (larger than my other dildos deemed for specific anal) strap on vibrating dildo for my partner to use in a double harness. The total length is a little over 6 1/2" long with about 5 1/2" of that being insertable. For anal, this is a great length for me and likely great for most guys looking for p-spot stimulation and those with a decent amount of anal experience. The ~4 1/2" circumference (~1 1/2" diameter) is good for all of the above but might not fill those looking for large anal toys. The base is very thick and sturdy making it excellent for strap on play. You will need an o-ring of 1 1/2" or slightly larger.

The shape is actually slightly curved and a wonderful large rippling on the inner side of the curve. These ripples create an amazing sensation where you choose to thrust it! The end is nicely rounded for insertion, especially for anal. In the base is partially hollow for the first three inches. This is where the traditional sized bullet fits in. The hole is cut out in a cone shape and is larger at the top than it is at the bottom. Towards the bottom there are ridges in the inside that keep the bullet from coming out. If you use the traditional sized bullet that comes with the dildo, it will fit all the way in and none of it will stick out. This makes the bullet a bitch to remove! I have to swirl my finger around the outside and pull on the button lightly to get it out. Because the beginning of the hole is larger you can use a different size bullet (up to 1 1/4" in diameter) but it might stick out a bit making it less great for strap on play. The base is flat otherwise but the ridge is cut unevenly. This doesn't really effect anything important however.

The phallic design and vibrant color make this dildo very obvious. The fact that it is silicone and won't melt or collect a ton of dust, makes this dildo good for travel.

The bullet has one speed and can be turned off and on by pressing the push button on the bottom. It is actually pretty powerful, more powerful than I would have expected since it is a traditional bullet, which is much like many I own. It is of average noise level outside the body and can barely be heard inside. The vibrations transfer so well through out the entire dildo, that I can actually finish clitorally from pressing the tip against my clit. Of course this takes a bit of time, but it can be done! The vibrations are strongest in the bottom half of the dildo and can be felt nicely against the labia when transferred through the base.

Insertion is easy and smooth vaginally or anally. The ripples feel great and not too intense when fast thrusting is desired. While this does give a little g-spot stimulation because of its firmness, I wish that there was a specifically pronounced head to increase this. For me, it wasn't enough to produce g-spot orgasms. However, the length is great for me and the thickness is nice. It is great for both anal and vaginal penetration. Those who really like to be filled may find this a bit lacking though. The vibration can be felt internally. While they are not as strong as the average vibrator, I found them to be impressive for just a bullet in a solid mass of silicone.

The Delight was, well, a complete delight in a harness. It's firmness makes it sturdy and easy to control. There is no flopping or difficulty inserting anally (we used this in our double harness on me).

This dildo is very easy to take care of. The bullet shouldn't be getting dirty, but if it does just wipe it down with a toy cleaner or damp wash cloth. The silcione can be sterilized for sharing or using for anal and vaginal penetration. If you are switching in the middle or a session, from anal to vaginal, using a condom is recommended (do the same for switching between partners). You can boil the dildo after you have removed the bullet. This takes about 10 minutes. It can also be put on the top shelf of a dishwasher. If you have no need to sterilize, hot water and soap does just fine too. Just remember that silcione lubes are a major no no for silicone materials. Choose a water base instead. To store, you will need to find something to put the Delight in since the packaging isn't going to help.

I was dissapointed in the packaging. It comes in a plastic bag with a cardboard piece stapled to the top to keep it shut. That's it. The cardboard piece has a small amount of information about the silicone. It says the name of course and the company but doesn't say much else. The package also includes the watch batteries that are needed to operate the bullet.
