Bare as you dare harness review

It has the three things I've always wanted in a harness: the g-string style, very thin straps, so it hits a very particular spot on my clit, and interchangeable O-rings. Nylon, easy to clean. Amazing!

extremely useful review
I seem to be in the lesbian minority as I prefer g-string style harnesses to the jock-strap/two strap style. Most lesbians I’ve talked to about this don’t like the feeling of something between their labia or up their ass-crack (and, indeed, the sensation of rubbing tight against the asshole is even painful for some).

I don’t notice either of those things, as either a positive or negative. What I do notice about the single-strap harnesses is that the harness sits right on top of my clit. And oh, I like that. That is precisely why I can come while strapped on and fucking.

Most harnesses are made to fit so the dildo hits the pubic bone, NOT the clit. It’s hard to get the right sensation in the right place, for the wearer. But the single-strap style means that the cock is settled on my pubic bone and the strap is over my clit, which rubs against it each time I thrust.

The first time I bought a small, simple, single-strap harness (quite similar to this Bare as you Dare harness) was to be a packing harness, one that wouldn’t be bulky under thin slacks. I quickly discovered how perfectly it hit my clit though, and there was no going back.

G-string harnesses are kind of hard to find! Eden has one of the best selections I’ve seen, but I have some very particular needs in a harness: aside from the g-string style, I also want very thin straps, so it hits a very particular spot on my clit, and the ability to have interchangeable O-rings, which means I can use various sizes of cocks in the same harness.

Simple, right? But it wasn’t until I found this Bare as you Dare harness just last month that I finally got all three of those things in one harness. Until then, I had one harness with interchangeable O-rings that didn’t quite hit my clit right, and one harness with the perfect size straps, but that I could only use with certain cocks, because the O-rings didn’t unsnap.

Now, I don’t use either of those harnesses – I only use this one. If I could pick only one harness to take to a desert island, it’d be this one.

PROS: It has the three things I’ve always wanted in a harness: the g-string style, very thin straps, so it hits a very particular spot on my clit, and interchangeable O-rings. Nylon, easy to clean. Amazing!

CONS: If you don’t like the g-string style, you won’t like it; it can bite into the ass-crack or cut into the hips if you’re on the fleshy side.

MAINTENANCE: Metal o-rings and nylon straps. Wash it with soap and water after use (you’ll find it gets kind of, uh, wet, when it sits between the labia) and hang it up to dry, which it does pretty quickly. Toss it in the washing machine every once in a while to keep it clean.

HOW I RECOMMEND IT: With your favorite strap-on cock and your favorite sex partner, lubed up and ready to get fucked. Best to invest in some different sizes of O-rings so you can fit all those various sizes of cocks with it.

WHO WILL WANT IT: Those who want to wield a cock. Those who want to get off while doing so. Oh good lord, who wouldn’t want it?
