Missy-G - double strap by Outlaw Leather - review by Safo Garcia

This is a quality leather harness that fits a wide variety of bodies very well. Many harnesses out there, even some of the more expensive ones, are shoddily made or badly engineered, but this one is of the highest quality and well-designed. What the manufacturers say about the harness sitting a bit lower on the pubic bone and providing some very nice stimulation for the wearer is true.

The part of the harness that sits against the public bone is formed by two pieces of leather: the one that faces the outside contains the O-ring, and the one that faces the inside contains a cut out, oval-shaped hole that can be used to hold a separate dildo inside of the wearer, or that can be used to accommodate a double dildo. (The interior hole is intelligently placed a bit lower than the external hole for the O-ring to enable penetration of the wearer—that’s why you see a bit of leather peaking out from the inside in the picture). It’s a very nice bonus feature.

I'm a full-bodied woman, and I was initially worried about whether commercial harnesses would fit me. The Missy-G fits with room to spare. Actually, it can fit a very wide variety of bodies, small or large, because its long leather straps make it fully adjustable.

My only complaint about Missy-G is that the dyed (red or blue) parts of the leather are considerably stiffer than the black and brown leather on this and other Outlaw harnesses. It can actually poke you and your partner a bit. It does soften over time and with use, but I find that I tend to prefer my other Outlaw harnesses for this reason, and use this one the least. This is why I’m giving it 4 and not 5 stars.

My girlfriend and I actually own three Outlaw harnesses: this one (Missy G), the Annie-O (available at edenfantasys), and the Bonnie-B (not available at edenfantasys). They're all similarly constructed and differ only in terms of 1) the aesthetics and 2) the type of fastener (D-rings or buckles) around the hips. (All of the thigh straps in the rear are D-rings). It’s a matter of personal preference whether to choose a harness with D-rings or buckles. Before I bought a harness, I thought I’d definitely prefer buckles, because, I reasoned, you could find the same notch every time and D-rings might come loose. After using harnesses with both types, I have to say that I actually prefer D-rings on the hip straps because 1) you can never find the right notch, especially in the heat of passion and 2) D-rings are easier to adjust in the heat of passion.

All Outlaw harnesses come in a beautiful velvet drawstring pouch that you’ll definitely want to keep for storage. You should clean it after every use with a wet soapy towel or a baby wipe.
