The best use for this dildo is going to depend a lot of the individual. While I am not blown away with it, I do find its amazing versatility something worth noting. It's qualities can be pros or cons, depending on your wants and needs. The Jollies Wave is long, slender, and flexible, with a gently waving texture, firm silicone and a harness compatible base. It could be thought of as a very long, slender dildo, or a somewhat fat set of anal beads. Is is most certainly beginner friendly, but its length does provide a more advanced challenge as well.

Jollies generally uses a very firm, slick surfaced, 100% silicone for its toys (generally) and the Wave is no exception. Were this toy any thicker, it would be a little too firm for deep penetration, but as it is, it is very bendy and flexible and could be likened to anal beads as an anal probe.

The Jollies Wave has dimensions that no other dildos have. It is very long and very slender. This 'niche' is perhaps underrepresented for a reason, however, because a long slender design is likely to be disappointing on some level to almost every user. I would say that this toy would be best suited to beginner strap on anal sex explorations, particularly if one of both of the people involved were gloriously curvaceous, because its slender design is get for an anal beginner, and its length will allow it to be actively held onto for perfect positioning, no matter the distance the users particular body mechanics require it to traverse.

With a bit of imagination, the Wave can be used in a number of ways. It works well as an anal dildo, held or harnessed, but its full length should be used carefully and slowly, because it might feel a little too long without adequate warm-up. For those, however, that are used to a bit more thickness in their anal toys may find this too slim. As a vaginal dildo, the Wave is unexpectedly fun. I enjoy using it whilst lying on my back inserting it as far as I can/feel is comfortable, then bending the remainder up along my body and gently rocking it in and out. Something about the firm pressure of the silicone, the bumpy texture, and my unique anatomical layout make this move a winner. When used in a standard thrust in and out, the Wave is just too slim to do it for me - and its length makes it bump my cervix more than I would like.

Like most slick surfaced silicone, the Jollies Wave likes to pick up hair and fuzz. Thus, its best to give it a rinse before use, as well as a nice full clean afterward. As a 100% silicone toy, it should bot be used with silicone lubes, and it is non-porous, so it can be sanitized by boiling or soaking in a bleach solution if you wish to use vaginally after it has been used anally (or share it with a friend). If sanitizing is not a concern, it will wash up superbly with some warm water and soap, and should last a lifetime.

Jollies packaging is minimal and recyclable. Perfect, frankly - I wish more manufacturers would follow suit. Anything more is always such needless overkill.
