Use

The Crystal Cut G-spot, other than having one of the most unique glass textures available, is a beautiful dildo. Normally Phallix toys have a single head, but this one has a kind of collar past the initial bump. They both work well in ticking, fondling or hitting the g-spot, but they only become extraordinary when you reach the rest. Beyond the initial bumps starts a fascinating net of lozenges, which can be felt in whatever direction the toy is used (thrusting and turning), and that part is quite pleasurable.

Actually, I should rather say that the whole toy is amazing. It was used alone and with a partner, and nothing more than strokes of average speed were used, and the slowest ones with minimal amplitudes had the most interesting physical responses; the crystals along the shaft are already highly stimulating without adding speed.

Since the texture is not that pronounced in size, but in intensity, this toy can be easily controlled by another person. On the base, the Phallix logo is conveniently placed so that, if it can be read from a partner's point of view, the toy is oriented toward the g-spot. So there is no more having to remove the toy to see if it is correctly placed.

Another nice feature about this toy is that it can stand upright to dry, until it is used or to be displayed. It's up to you.

Material / Texture

I said that this toy was made of glass, but more precisely medical-grade borosilicate glass. It is obviously a solid material, and has the advantage of not being porous and does not contain latex or any allergenic material. It just just like the material used for Pyrex wares; it's hard, odorless and without any taste. However resistant to breaking it can be, it's not unbreakable; you always have to be careful not to drop this toy into a metal sink or stress it with extreme temperature changes.

Any temperature play with glass should be made with a bowl of warm water or cold water and let it soak for 10-15 minutes. You need to be able to let your hand in the water comfortably so that the temperature would not be too hot or cold for your private places. Anything cold to the touch will feel even colder there, and so will warmth, so play carefully.

As I said before, the texture is quite original, and if you wrap your hand on the shaft, it feels like there is a ton of small nubs. And yet, they are more subtle than regular nubs, since you can't really perceive the shaft in opposition to the size of the nubs. This is what I could describe as a negative texture, meaning that the texture is created with hollow lines or shapes along the shaft. At a first glance, that texture may appear to be "too much texture", but it's just right. I'm not saying it's all-smooth sailing, because you'll have the impression to feel every single one of them, and yet, they don't poke in a strong or bad way - it's hard to describe. It's much less pronounced than wraps for instance.

Obviously, if you do not like texture to begin with, this Crystal Cut may not be the best toy for you, but I have a dozen or so glass toys of different textures, and this may well be the most gentle AND stimulating of all.

Design / Shape / Size

The design is perfect, not only is the texture great, but the size is too. I know I'm biased because I'm not a size queen - although it took a few large toys to confirm - but this could be my ultimate glass toy. It has a shaft diameter of 1 1/4" and the head is only slightly larger with 1 1/2"; I could feel the progressive change in width, but it didn't feel like there was a particular bumpy area. I would consider this toy suitable for everyone, unless they are really really into much larger toys. The shape is not really realistic, except for two lines starting at the head of the glans that give it a slight penis feature, but it definitely looks like a sex toy.

The lines appear to have been traced by hand with a narrow tool when the glass was still malleable - they are of varying depth, width, and length. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no rougher sandy areas, not even in the deepest lines, and the surface is entirely impeccable.

The coloring is hypnotic, I never tire of turning it around in the light after it has been washed to admire the rich blue-purple color that gets revealed in the light. With normal lighting, the glass toy is darker than the pictures on this page, and you will need an especially bright light source behind the toy in order to see how blue it can get.

Performance

Before now, I could usually have an idea of how a dildo will perform by looking at it, but I could not predict how well this toy would do. I knew I expected something very good and I imagined it would become one of my favorite toys. I wasn't entirely wrong, but I had not expected it to be beyond-my-imagination good; it's now clearly a favorite to me and has now replaced the few glass g-spot dildos that I adored. They were toys with pronounced wraps that hit the g-spot well that could be too much after a while since I would have to rely a lot on penetration. With this toy, the difference is that you can get much more stimulation with less effort - and less chance of being irritating - simply by having this texture.

I didn't even need a lot of convincing to like this glass toy; it was love at first sight and try. The following times were for my own pleasure, and to add a little meat to this review.

Care and Maintenance

Taking care of this toy is not too complicated except for one thing (explained below). In terms of cleaning materials, any soap and warm water or an antibacterial toy cleaner will do the trick. It can even be sanitized with a 10% bleach solution or with isopropyl alcohol, or by putting it on the top rack of the dishwasher (no soap or contact with metal or glass please).

The only disadvantage there is with this toy is cleaning the creases, as they run kind of deep near the top and the bottom of the shaft. It may even be necessary to use something like a toothbrush to clean it thoroughly. Near the middle of the shaft, the lines are much more shallow and do not present any cleaning issue.

As it comes with a satin pouch (with lace), it could be used to store it, but you could also consider a padded pouch. The important thing is not to have your glass toy come in contact with very hard surfaces, like glass or metal as it can scratch the surface.

Personal comments

Let me just say that if anything ever happened to my Crystal Cut G-Spot, I'd get another one, no matter the cost.

Experience

There are toys that I would not let someone else use on me, but I did not hesitate to relinquish control to my boyfriend. He loved the way I moaned and moved, and that it took very little effort to get those reactions. It's definitely a perfect toy for foreplay when you still want to take your time, when you go gently with slow movements while enjoying yourselves, but things heat up very quickly afterwards.

For over a year now, my favorite dildo was the Tantus Purr, due to the great ribbing on the shaft that would give me so much stimulation. Unfortunately, the Purr has lost that title in favor of the Crystal Cut G-Spot, and for good reasons. I'm not going over the whole review again, but I still think it's as wonderful now as it was then.

I only wish I wasn't that busy with school so that I could play more often with it.
