Deuce 2 - dildo by Tantus - review by Waterfall

Made by Tantus, the Deuce 2 is a silicone dildo that can be used as a vibrator if the user desires due to the removable bullet that can be placed in the hole at the bottom. It is great for vaginal or anal use (due to the size and ridges it might be too much for beginners or even intermediate users to anal play) and is harness compatible. Its main features are the double ridges below the head for g-spot or p-spot stimulation.

The Deuce 2 is made of 100% premium silicone, so it is body safe and lasts a long time when taken care of. I chose the color that is a pretty lighter shade of purple with swirls of darker purple mixed in (this is hard to see in the pictures). Straight out of the package, there is no smell, as is expected of this high grade of silicone, I also tasted it and I found no taste either (I was curious about oral on something that basically has two "heads").

I own one other Tantus toy (the Vamp) and the Deuce 2 is less shiny, but at the same time not completely matte. I love the way this silicone feels, I found myself stroking it for a while after I took it out the package. This silicone is a little more on the firm side of the silicone spectrum and does not have a great deal of give/squishiness. Even though it is a little firm, I am able to bend it a bit, up toward my clit (this was great while in use because I could feel the vibrations in the shaft on my clit).Except for the double ridges/head at the top, the rest of the shaft is completely smooth. Although the ridges are only at the top, they do go all the way around the toy, but they are less pronounced on the back part that stimulates the pelvic floor during use. I don't find this to be too intense, however this may not be comfortable for beginners or those who do not like pronounced ridges/heads on their toys.

The Deuce 2 measures 7 inches in total length, with 6 1/2 insertable. Which is great for those with deeper g-spots and p-spots as it is easier to get the ridges to rub the right spots. It is 1 5/8 inches in diameter with a 5 1/4 inch circumference. A little large for beginners but intermediate and advanced users may enjoy this size. It is currently the toy with the largest diameter/circumference in my collection made out of firm materials. I find the size to be nicely filling but not too much in any way.

Even though this toy is not entirely realistic, due to the ridges at the top, I would say that it still looks semi-realistic. This being said, anyone who sees it hanging out in your house will know what it is (and once they realize that it has double ridges under the head, they may look at you even more strangely!), so it is not discreet.

I was attracted to the Deuce 2 because of the double ridges. I like pronounced ridges on my toys as they provide nice g-spot stimulation and double the ridges looked like they would provide extra stimulation. I was correct in my assumption. For my anatomy, this toy worked really well at providing nice g-spot stimulation and didn't require a lot of uncomfortable positions. Because of the fact that it is harness compatible and because the material isn't at a firmness that can be painful when thrust hard, this toy would work well for partner play.

For me the best things about this toy are the stimulating ridges, the girth, and the optional bullet. The ridges did a good job stroking my g-spot when I was thrusting with this toy. The girth helped with this because it made it so that I felt more full and therefore felt more pressure on my g-spot. I found the optional bullet in the bottom to be nice at times because it made the stimulation feel just a bit better. However, this bullet (when used in the toy and not externally) may not provide a strength of vibrations that is for everyone. I did use the bullet externally a few times, and when it is help against my clit the vibrations feel a lot more intense.

The Deuce 2 is made of pure silicone and should last a life time with proper care. This means that you should only use water based lube with this toy but if you really must use a silicone lube, then you need to do a patch test on an area of the toy that does not come into contact with your body during use.

To clean it simply use warm water and anti-bacterial soap, toy cleaner, or run it through your dishwasher. You can sterilize it by boiling it in water for a few minutes or you can use a 10% bleach solution. I would recommend washing before use because this does pick up a bit of lint/hair, however it is not as bad as some other silicone toys.

Right now, I keep my Deuce 2 away from my other silicone toys in a plastic bag, but if you have a pouch or cloth bag that is even better! I do wish that Tantus would give little storage bags with their toys, but as of now they do not.

This comes packaged in the normal Tantus packaging which consists of a clear plastic box with a little bit of information about Tantus products on the front and back including some care instructions. Inside the box, the toy is in a molded plastic insert. I do not find these packages very good for storage.

When using the Deuce 2 I found it pretty easy to insert with just a little bit of lube. The ridges rubbed nicely on my g-spot while I slowly thrust. I found that this toy provides even more stimulation with shorter, faster thrusts, and I love using this toy with these kind of movements! Overall, I really like this toy and it has performed very well on multiple occasions.
