Dildo discontinued

Purply and Cute. Stick it in you.

The Tantus Gspot is a great g-spot dildo that is made from a body-safe material and allows for optional vibrations. It includes a base that makes it good for harness-use and is a quality purchase that will last as long as you take care of it.

extremely useful review
The Tantus G-spot is about seven inches long and has a diameter of a little over an inch and a half. It's made of high-quality silicone - the same silicone that Tantus has always been known for using. It comes in a pretty purple or a pretty white, and I got the purple, and it does look exactly as the pictures portray the color as being. It is a slightly weighty dildo - it's nothing ridiculous, but it does weigh more than the average jelly dildo. The G-spot dildo includes a hole in the bottom of the silicone to slide in any average-sized bullet vibrator into it to turn it into a vibrating dildo.

The packaging is just as basic as all Tantus packaging. It's a nice, square, see-through box that shows off the dildo very nicely. It is very tasteful. I was slightly annoyed that the name of this is just "g-spot". I feel like that's such a generic name, and I frown at Tantus over name it this. I wish this nice dildo could have deserved a neat name like the rest of their toys receive.

The silicone itself doesn't feel like most of the silicone I end up touching. It feels much more matte than shiny and soft like the rest of the Tantus products feel like. It feels very soft and sensual as opposed to "showy". I know that makes no sense. I also passed this around my circle of friends, and we all agree it smells "purple". Seriously. Purple. Not grape, just a very very subtle scent if you stick your nose straight into the dildo itself. Just an odd thing worth mentioning - you won't notice it during use.

So how does it work? It depends on the person. I personally love the nice little ripples in the size, but I know other women haven't liked it as much. I have found my g-spot, and this worked nice for it. It's firm enough to apply pressure to the g-spot and the vibrations travel semi-decently through dildo itself. It's not quite as strong as at the base, but the vibrations can still be felt in the tip.

The only complaint I had about using it with personal use is that the base of the dildo is very small, so it can be difficult to hold onto it while still trying to give some strong thrusts. It's also very close to the bullet, so my hand got a little numb while I was holding onto the base of the toy. Because of the small base, it was kinda difficult to use on my own for rough thrusting, but with a partner, he said he really had no difficulty using it on me. Random comment: My boyfriend ended up sticking his finger in the bullet hole to thrust it that way and burst into giggles. Then he used it as a finger puppet. Sexy times obviously stopped.

As a sidenote, we didn't try using this for anal use, but it's quite possible this would hit the prostate in males if that's something that interests you. However, the small flared base worries me a bit about anal use, so make sure to keep a firm hold on it or put it into a harness.

Speaking of harnesses, we did try strapping this into a harness since it does have the base to allow it to be harness compatible. I was depressed by my strap-on cock in this case. Because of the weight and the curve, my poor dildo was very droopy. I felt sad with my droopy penis because the small base doesn't keep it upright. If you are going straight into sex, this would matter quite as well, but because of the weight that this dildo has, it honestly won't work well for most harnesses.

Silicone material is very body-safe, and it can be completely sterilized by boiling. It is only compatible with water-based lubricant, so don't use silicone-based with it because it will harm it. I keep it in its original storage box, but others prefer to keep it other places. Make sure you at least cover it because this toy definitely likes to pick up all the fuzzies that exist in your living area. As a sidenote, this dildo doesn't sit-up well when sat on its base because of the distribution of weight.

Really, this is a pretty freakin' awesome dildo. It's not perfect, but it does deliver g-spot stimulation in a body-safe way. It has the option of vibrations that will fit most standard-sized bullets. It comes in two pretty colors and made by a trustworthy company. It has a decent girth that will satisfy most women although possibly not size queens. I'm happy I own it, and it's a great dildo to own.
Follow-up commentary
I still like the dildo, but I just don't use it much anymore. I've thought about taking it out for more strap-on play (which is what I use most dildos for), but the base isn't really strong enough to support it well. I've also thought about using it on myself, but it's a little soft compared to my favorite g-spot toys to provide the sensation I love. Sadness. Still an amazing dildo, but just probably not for me.
