useful review
Dasha’s Hot Rod G-Spot is a striking glass dildo for those who like their colors bold and vivid! The slight curve and pronounced head are ideal for effective g-spot stimulation, and the slightly flared base makes for a convenient hand-hold.
Pros:
Amazing colors, glass, prominent g-spot stimulation, nice size.
Cons:
Design might be too gaudy for some, flare of base is probably too slight for safe anal play.
I love Dichroic glass and I love glass dildos, so I was thrilled to learn I would be receiving Dasha’s Hot Rod G-Spot to review! The colors on this dildo are exceptionally bold and brilliant, and I could not wait to get my, um…hands on it!
Now, I am not normally the type of gal who would be attracted to a toy with flames decorating it. I drive a beige sedan and am hardly a hot-rod sort of chick. However, the iridescent shimmer and scintillating colors of the Hot Rod G-Spot are striking enough to make the flames seem appropriate, rather than gaudy. This is truly a hot-looking toy!
Dasha’s Hot Rod G-Spot is approximately 7” long, and 1” in diameter with a slightly wider head (about 1 ½” by my measurements). The head is tapered for easy insertion, and while it does not really look all that wide, the difference in diameter is definitely noticeable when you insert it! The shaft has a very slight g-spot curve, but combined with the flared head it makes for a very effective toy indeed! The Hot Rod is completely smooth, but I could feel the head stroking my g-spot firmly with every thrust! I was not even particularly trying to angle the toy to hit my spot, but it was definitely a prominent sensation! The toy is also retains heat and cold exceptionally well—especially cold! The first time I used this dildo, it was almost like using a toy made of delicious-feeling ice!
Dasha’s Hot Rod G-Spot is slightly flared at the end and will stand up on its own. The flare is slight, though, and the shaft is very smooth, so I do not think I would recommend this toy for anal play. Fortunately, because of the glass material, it can be used with any lube and can also be sterilized for safety. The dildo comes in a lace-trimmed satin Phallix drawstring pouch for storage.

It's so gorgeous!!!
Sleeping Dreamer- the flames are the dichroic part of the dichroic glass. Basically, to get this cool effect, thin layers of metallic oxides (like titanium, silicon, and magnesium) are deposited upon the surface of the glass in a high temperature, vacuum furnace. This is a very abbreviated description that I only know because jewelers use it in baubles and we're a crafty house. Oh, and I'm a big fat geek that likes to know obscure crap (one day it will come in handy! and lookie there, it has!
)
If it sounds space age, it is! It is a spinoff of a technology used in space engineering. It's also quite expensive of a process, which is why toys it appears in are so bloody damn expensive.
Oh, and it's perfectly safe to boil, it's trapped inside the glass.
