Mood playful - traditional vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Airen Wolf

I will admit that sometimes my mood is indeed playful and this little vibe does, indeed, fit in with this mood. Doc Johnson has created a line of toys that are kinda perfect if, like me, you like hard plastic, traditional vibrators.

As you can see it's a very pretty, bright colored vibrator. Yes, it's a bright pink and white and people who know me might be wondering why I would want a pink toy, and I will admit it was an ordering malfunction on my part, I simply didn't chose the purple toy when I ordered this one. It's a great little vibe so I am not too terribly upset.

This is a short, but not too terribly slim vibe that actually performs better as a clitoral vibe than a thrusting toy or G spotter. It measures in at 5.5 inches in total length with about 4of hose inches being comfortably insertable. Mr. Playful measures almost 4 inches around. If you are the type of player that likes short, shallow penetration then this will be pretty darn near perfect.

The toy is made of food-grade, hypo-allergenic, latex free, and phthalates free TPR/Plastic. It is completely smooth and has a bit of drag from the TPR. A touch of any type of lube you prefer will smooth away the drag completely. For some the lack of texture will be a bonus and it is for me because I like lots of choice in my vibes.
The TPR and hard Plastic are spliced together in a wavy fashion and there is a slight seam where the two pieces meet but I haven't had any fluids or other flurf build up inside of it. The seam cannot be felt during use and poses no problem.

This is a traditional three speed, push button vibrator that has some real punch to the speed and intensity of the vibrations. It takes two AAA batteries that slide into a removable tray. This removes the need to take out the batteries when you are done, just slide the tray out and store beside the vibrator!

On low speed the vibrations are on the high end of medium intensity. They are deeper than the usual buzzy vibrations of this sort of toy and are most easily felt in the nose of the toy. The vibrations don't become much more intense but they are a bit higher pitched and more easily felt on the surface of the toy. The highest speed is just a touch more powerful but not so powerful that it can numb any but the most sensitive clit. This speed can please all but the most ardent power hungry players.
Even at the highest speed the toy is very quiet. It cannot be heard outside a door, even at the highest speed, and laying on top of the covers. More than likely it would be heard by a sleeping partner but it probably wouldn't disturb them.

This toy is great for teasing play and slipping between yourself and a partner for some extra clitoral stimulation. It can enhance a great blowjob and feels great snuggled up to the scrotum or taint. It is also waterproof so it can be used in the shower, pool and hot tub! What it is not great for is anal insertion. It doesn't have any safety features to prevent it from slipping inside.

Cleaning is as easy as hot water and soap or a commercial toy cleaner. You could use a 10% bleach to water spray as well or a toy condom if you really want to be sure, or want to share the toy. TPR and Plastic aren't terribly porous but it couldn't hurt to be careful!
This is small enough to store in a bedside table or a sock drawer. It is also small enough to toss in an overnight bag and when traveling is cool enough looking that it shouldn't draw much attention to itself.

This little guy still sits in my bedside table drawer because it gets the job done. I love the draggy silicone and the size of the toy. Runs like a champ!
