A Bullet Makes A Better Clitoral Vibrator
Published: January 15, 2009
useful review
This toy did not exceed my expectations! I don't think a novice or an advanced sex toy consumer would like a jelly clitoral stimulator due to the lack of stimulation and difficulty in cleaning and storing the toy. If you're looking for a fun time, just buy a bullet alone without the jelly tongue (or clitoral stimulator).
Pros:
Pink and girly. Dial based control for vibration
Cons:
Material was hard to clean. Vibrations did not transmit through jelly material
The Clit Kisser was my first sex toy I ever bought. It was a good first toy – non-intimidating and easy to use, however, there are better ones out there.
Positives of the toy include the dial base on the controller (for vibration), and the fact that it's pink (and perhaps a bit girly for some). The color pink may make the toy more accessible to women who would not normally own a sex toy. The toy is also non-threatening for beginners and looks fairly tame as opposed to some of the g-spot or anal toys out there!
The toy looks promising, but I have a few complaints about it. These are about the material the toy is made out of, vibration speed and the durability and ability to clean the toy.
When I first looked at the toy, I thought the tongue vibrated until I asked a clerk at the sex toy shop I was in. She said that the tongue didn't vibrate – it didn't move at all. I was disappointed because I'd heard of other toys in which the tongue moved.
The toy is made out of jelly. Jelly does not transmit vibrations the way that hard plastic or other substances such as rubber or silicone do. Jelly deadens vibrations – and with the amount of jelly around this toy I could barely feel anything when I stimulated my clitoris. Finally, I took the bullet out of the toy and just used that on my clitoris – it was a much better (and much needed solution), however, it still wasn't enough to get me to achieve orgasm.
The vibration speed of the bullet was weak in comparison to other toys that I have. The dial base was a plus, making it easy to control the speed but I wish the bullet had vibrated faster. I don't think this would have solved the problem posed by the jelly material, but it would have been nice to have a useful two-in-one toy.
The durability of the Clit Kisser vibe was disappointing. After careful storage for about a year and a half, the jelly deteriorated and I was unable to use the toy. This may have been due to how I cleaned the toy. Jelly is always a difficult substance to clean. I find it's easiest to clean under lukewarm water and with antibacterial soap instead of with toy cleaner and a rag. The jelly makes it hard to dry the toy with a rag. I prefer to let my jelly toys air-dry – just not in a place others can see them!
This toy is a good beginners toy, however, much past that this toy isn't much to write home about.

It's a shame the tongue didn't move. Jelly toys are annoying when it comes to cleaning!
Sienna - Yeah. I've sworen off of jellly toys. I was young and uneducated when I was 18.
The tongue is so prominent that I would have made the same assumption about it moving, or doing something. How often did you use this toy before it stopped working?
Yeti - I used this toy for about 6 months and then it stopped working.
