Astrovibes Libra - traditional vibrator by Fun Factory - review by Tori Rebel

Libras are said to be romantic and charming. Having met this Libra, I'm going to have to agree wholeheartedly. This toy is beautifully designed - although I wouldn't have expected any less from Fun Factory - and tons of fun to use, especially once you've figured out how to use its flexibility to its advantage.

The toy is 6-1/2" long without the battery cap and control dial and just under 6" around at its widest point. It's made of smooth silicone - a personal favorite of mine - and runs on 2 AA batteries which are inserted under the cap and control dial. The dial changes the vibration levels from very low to a moderate high and the toy is very quiet, especially when inserted. Under a blanket and behind a closed door, this toy would be entirely undetectable.

When I first used this toy, I loved the soft feminine curves and the levels of vibration in this toy. The toy goes from medium width at the top to thin to very thick at the base. With the right amount of lube, inserting it to the really thick point feels amazingly satisfying for those who like a toy with a lot of girth. It can also be used as a clitoral vibrator although, like with most silicone or rubber vibrators, the vibrations aren't as strong at the tip as they are in the base.

I was honestly quite satisfied with just that. However, with some further playtime, I found that if I insert the tip to the thinner portion and then bend the toy up toward me, the thick base with the stronger vibrations will press against my clitoris while the tip is still inside of me. The silicone gives it just enough flexibility to do this without being floppy. And if you can pull your muscles up and in just right, I've found I can actually use the vibrating tip of the toy to reach my g-spot while the base is still vibrating up against me. It took a few times to figure this movement out but once I did I was amazed at how versatile such a simple looking toy could be!

If you're not into complicating your toy usage, however, it did work great as a nicely shaped silicone vibrator. I had no complaints about the toy before I learned how to use it more creatively. I think it would work great for beginners that don't want to invest in another toy right away to move up to the next level. The shape and material of this toy have made it perfect for moving upwards with toy knowledge and usage.

A word of warning - there are two things you cannot do with this toy. It is not waterproof (it says nothing about being waterproof on the packaging AND there is no rubber seal on the battery compartment) and it cannot be used with silicone lubes, or you could ruin the toy.

It can be cleaned with antibacterial soap and warm water and I prefer to leave these to air-dry because silicone can occasionally pick up towel fuzzies when it's wet. I keep it in its original plastic 2-part case to keep it clean and away from other toys.

This toy worked beautifully as a normal straight vibrator but once I learned to use its flexibility and strength to my advantage, it was like having a whole other toy.

The more I work with this toy and learn to appreciate its curves and narrowing in the center the more I like it. It still works best for me when slightly bent and pulled forward, and the toy itself has proved to be of exceptional quality through quite a few long sessions. Fun Factory has yet another winner here :)
