What made Doc Johnson think "There needs to be an elephant shaped bullet?" I will never know; it's certainly not at the top of my list of "sensual animals," especially a baby elephant. Admittedly, the little TPE elephant is cute, but not particularly ergonomically designed. He just sort of sits there, looking at you.

Once I put this mini-mammal to the test, I tried it in a number of different positions, not really understanding what they were getting at with the shape. I mean, it's not like its trunk is really sticking out, nor are its ears. He's just a little lump. First I tried it with the little bump of his trunk directly on my clitoris, then the same with the top of his head, and finally attempted labial stimulation with his ears, but no matter how I positioned him, it was always just sort of awkward.

Not wanting to give up just yet, I pulled the bullet out of the elephant and tried it out bare. This took the little bullet from um? to oh! There are 10 different vibration functions: low steady vibrations, medium steady vibrations, high steady vibrations, escalating vibrations, medium-speed pulsating vibrations, rapid pulsating vibrations, escalating vibrations followed by 3 bursts, medium-speed pulsating followed by rapid pulsating followed by one short steady burst then one long steady burst, a fluctuation between medium and high steady vibrations, escalating pulses between low, medium, and high vibrations followed by a steady medium vibration. This toy has more vibration settings than anything else I own! Not to mention, the vibrations are all pretty strong, even the low setting. This may be because it was designed to be inside the elephant which would have stifled the vibrations a bit, but even the elephant doesn't stifle them much.

This toy is controlled by a small, velvety feeling remote that takes two AA batteries and only has two buttons; one is the on/off that powers the bullet on or off no matter what setting you are in, and the other is the vibrations control, which has the number 10 on it. Because there is only one button to control the vibrations, there is no "forward" or "back" and you have to cycle through to get to whatever setting you want.

While this isn't a go-to toy for solo-play, my partners seems to favor it because of its big power and small size.
