Traditional vibrator discontinued

Nothing to write home about

I'm reluctant to recommend the product, not because it is bad, but simply because it's not very good either. For a beginner the experience may not live up to expectations and for a more advanced user it would be b-o-ring.

Use

This is a traditional vibrator that may also be enjoyable for clitoral play on more sensitive women. You can try holding the vibe against your cheek while performing oral sex, and my partner enjoyed the vibrating sensation around his scrotum and the underside of his penis. You can also use it for body massage- think back and feet.

Material / Texture

The shape of the vibe reminded me a lot of a soft serve vanilla ice cream and felt rather velvety, a little bit like skin that had some powder on it. The vibe isn't flexible so it won't conform to your body but the construction seems sturdy.

Design / Shape / Size

The size of the vibe is about 7 inches, just a little bit larger than your average penis. The actual insertible length however is only 6 inches, so it's right for a beginning user like myself. The toy isn't very easy to hide in a bedside drawer like a smaller clitoral vibe, but it can be tucked away in an underwear drawer. The "soft serve ice cream" shape of the vibe didn't immediately peg it as a vibrator to me, as much as say a traditional penis shaped one, but its purpose is readily apparent.

Functions / Performance / Controls

You turn this vibe on by turning a dial at the very bottom of the vibe. It works the same way as a light dimmer; turn slightly for lesser vibrations and move all the way clockwise for the strongest. There are no patterns of vibrations, just weak to strong. I found the control somewhat uncomfortable to use because the hard plastic ridges dug into my fingers---it's sort of an exaggerated version of the ridges you'd find around a quarter. It is easy to use, but boy is it noisy. If you don't have the cap screwed on just right it will be significantly louder than it should be, but even when closed properly it's hard to ignore. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who has roommates or thin walls.
    • Easy to use
    • Not discreet at all

Care and Maintenance

I covered the toy with a condom for easy clean up, but you can use the toy without it and then wash with soap and water. In this respect it is easy to care for and I simply store it back in its original plastic packaging. The toy is made of plastic so you can use the lube of your choice.

Personal comments

I generally make a point to use the most body friendly and earth friendly products I can so overall this toy is pretty good. It's made of food grade material that's hypo-allergenic and phthalates-free, and rated around an 8 for material safety. Its also latex-free and safe to use in water.

Experience

Overall I wasn't very impressed with the toy. The vibrations weren't strong enough to use as a clitoral vibe and I didn't at all enjoy it inserted due to personal taste and experience; I've discussed before that I have a structural anomaly of the vagina called Uterus Didelphys in which my single vaginal opening diverges (divided by a septum) to two separate vaginal canals, each with their own cervix and uterus. Due to a number of doctors appointments and internal ultrasounds, using this vibe simply felt too clinical and negative to be an experience I would like to repeat. However, always one for the adage "waste not, want not", I decided to see where this toy might shine. My partner enjoyed having the tip of the vibe used around his scrotum and the underside of his penis, though he said he did not believe he could achieve an orgasm from it alone. I moved on to using it as a "proper massager"; the hard knobs and a moderate vibration felt amazing when pressed firmly on my feet but it wasn't as great on my back or neck.
