Pearly is a short g-spot style vibe with a small clit nub. I can reach my g-spot easily with my fingers, and sometimes I find deeper penetration painful, so I thought this would be a great vibe for me.

The main parts of your body that Pearly is designed to stimulate are the vagina and clitoris. There is a small graphic on the instruction sheet that shows that how it may also be used in the anus, because the clit nub prevents it from being inserted too deeply and getting lost.

Of course, Pearly may be used on erogenous zones such as the nipples, testicles, and perineum. The tip is fairly pointy which lends itself to be used for pinpoint stimulation of the clitoris.

Nothing is totally lint-repelling, even glass, but Pearly is one of those toys that really grabs and holds dust.

It comes in either a dark purple color or a light green color, with a shimmery silver plastic control base. The buttons are a hard clear plastic that looks almost like glass. It is smooth, except for two small ridges that "swoop" up from each side and under the tip to meet at the point of the head.

The motorized portion of the shaft is rigid, and the portion of the tip where it bulges out slightly on the inside is soft and slightly flexible. However, the short length of the flexible section means that for practical use, it is not flexible.

The size is suitable for beginners, as long as you are comfortable with the 4.5" circumference/1.4" diameter. The insertable length of 2.75" is not intimidating; in fact, some may find it too short.

The vibrations in this toy are very strong and can be felt in any part of the toy, including the control handle. It has 12 functions, although interestingly, it starts at function #3 when you turn it on.

1. Quietest, lowest vibration.
2-5. Increasingly stronger vibrations.
6. Loudest, most powerful vibration.
7. "Waves". This function escalates stronger, and then smoothly comes back down again. The vibrations switch between the two motors, which almost makes the toy flex.
8. Like #7 but twice as fast between the strong peaks.
9. Quick switching between low and high levels of vibration.
10. Extremely quick pulsing, almost like a "double" vibration. Very rumbly.
11. Very unusual, 8 quick pulses between the base and tip motors, and then just the tip motor.
12. Pulses that get increasingly faster over a 10-second period, and then return instantly to the slowest rate again.

The (+) button goes to the next function, and after #12 goes back to #7, without passing through the constant vibration levels. The (-) button, on the other hand, works normally in levels #1-#6. However, when you press it during a pattern, it returns you to #6, almost as if you were "restarting" the toy at the highest vibration.

Since this toy is waterproof, it is easy to clean. Soap and water in the sink works just fine. Air drying is the best because it is a lint magnet, although if you need to dry it quickly, a towel will work. You will need to rinse the lint off before you use it again.

Like other silicone motorized toys, it can be sterilized in 10% bleach, but not in boiling water or the dishwasher. All lubes except silicone or silicone/water hybrids can be used with this toy. I would recommend an oil-based lube such as coconut oil for use in the shower or tub, as it will not wash away as easily. It will be more difficult to clean off, however.

I store it in the small box that it came in. The only change I would make to the box is to cut a hole in the bottom so that the charging cord can reach it.
